This is a first class service company! My old heat pump was still under warranty and failed in the subfreezing January weather. The manufacturer did not make a certain part for my still under warranty system because of EPA mandated changes in the type of refrigerant used. Instead of fixing it, the manufacturer offer a measly $300 credit towards a complete new high end system. Because of the refrigerant change, I needed both the inside and outside unit even though the outside unit worked fine. So Extreme went to bat for me at the manufacturer level and basically got me a complete new system (inside and outside unit) for half price. But it didn’t end there. The manufacturer told Extreme all of the ancillary equipment and circuit boards would work with the new system. It took several service calls for Extreme to find out the manufacturer was incorrect. Extreme kept looking for the problem because the manufacturer gave them bad info. They made many service calls and each time I called to have them come out, they came out the same day or next morning without hesitation and with a smile. Everyone was very polite. It is all fixed up and running well now. But not because of the manufacturer, but because of Extreme’s perseverance. Now I know that is what they are supposed to do, but in today’s world it’s hard to find a company that will do the right thing. Extreme took care of me. I even suggested that one of the ancillary parts that was not covered under any warranty might have failed and that I should be responsible for paying for that. They said no, we just want you taken care of. This is a first class company! After all was done, I called the service manager Rick, and the owner to express my gratitude and appreciation for Extreme going above and beyond. This is the kind of company I want to do business with. Their service is terrific. This is the 2nd system I bot from them. I was very satisfied with their work installing the last system and the few service calls I had over the years. I highly recommend this company. They will not disappoint you!

UPDATE: After nearly six months the unit has finally been replaced and, fingers crossed, it continues to work as advertised - upgrading from one star to three.

My wife and I are both in our sixties and contracted with Extreme Heating and Air in July to install a mini split system in our family room. My wife has asthma and other breathing issues as well as an aneurism. This unit was supposed to help alleviate her breathing issues on very hot and/or cold days. This has been nothing short of a fiasco. Minutes after the technician left, it began leaking water all over the floor. The tech 'forgot' to check the drain hose and had to come back out to repair it within hours. Only days later, we had to call them back out because it ceased to cool during one of the hottest days of the year. After sending multiple technicians, it was determined that all the coolant had leaked out because of an improper flange installation on the outside unit. The next issue was a faulty flange on the inside unit which, again, leaked coolant. After that repair, it still failed to work, this time when we tried to heat the room during the recent cold spells. Same story, no coolant, only this time supposedly a manufacturing defect. After six months of this, I'm still waiting for some kind of resolution. After weeks of inquiries as to the status of the repairs/replacement, I can't get them to return my phone calls despite repeated promises to do so.

Gary was great! I had another company tell me that my system was faulty and needed replaced (without giving any significant evidence to support that) and Gary showed me that my system was working fine. Happy to pay for honesty. He was thorough and has earned my business

Extreme Heating & Air is excellent. I have an annual plan with them and it gives me peace of mind. Matt Gibson was my technician today, and he literally saved my house from catching on fire from burning wires. He is a very caring and honest person. Thank you Matt!

Extreme did a great job with my duct cleaning. Found a lot of debris inside of them. I am so much happier knowing my family isn't breathing that in.

The price was fair for the service. I cannot remember the names of the service men who came out, but they did a great job! They were very personable and professional.
