Really bad experience. The technician came by to look at the furnace. Service call was no heat in winter. Shows ups after 7 hrs. Takes out the part that he said was the issue. Says he needs to get a tool from his truck to open the part. Comes back with the part broken in two. Just to show that he had diagnosed the issue correctly. Then proceeded to say the parts are hard to find and was unable to provide a timeline on part/repair but quickly said they could install a new furnace for $6500.00. Even if he was correct in his diagnosis smashing the part is unprofessional. Just tell me the diagnosis don't make the furnace worse and completely inoperable. Then says there is nothing else he can do and charged me $250.00 for the call out and I still don't have heat. Absolute nightmare. Also left gas on and furnace powered. Potentially dangerous and again not professional. Choose someone else of you actually want your furnace repaired. Image below is the condition my furnace was left in after the "repair".
Alex Y. Was great in servicing our furnace today. Not only did he check other components of our H-Vac system and water tank, he noticed condensate and was able to tell us our exhaust isn't sealed properly so we know to ensure that's fixed this spring. Alex was very friendly and went through the summary of findings very thoroughly. He also noticed that we have a carbon monoxide detector and noted that it was a good unit as it was a plug in, not battery. Thank you, Alex Y.
When I called in to book my yearly check up and maintenance on our furnace, they gave me a two hour time window with a promise that my tech would call ahead. Lonnie called me when she was about 25 minutes out and arrived on time, as promised. She was awesome! So friendly and knowledgeable. Thanks Lonnie! We have been with McKinley for a couple of years now and really appreciate the excellent service that they consistently provide. Highly recommend.
My 35 year old furnace finally saw it's last day, RIP. No one ever expects things to fail, but when it does I hope everyone has the same amazing experience that we did. Devin and Steven were very professional Quality installers that got the job done in less time than we expected. We would highly recommend McKinley for any upgrades or repairs to your utility room.
Just had a full water purification system installed today, and we couldn't be happier. Freddie and Gabe who did the work were fantastic—super friendly, incredibly efficient, and they worked so well together. They took the time to map out the best location for the system, and their attention to detail was top-notch. They walked us through the system after they were done and made sure we were comfortable with everything before they left. We're so excited to enjoy our new, clean water!
