We got a full new heat pump system installed after we got the annual maintenance plan which shows significant wear to our heater. It was best to replace the entire system, ac and heat.Pros-great communication and follow through on appointments and the work was quality, we have a great functioning system. Technicians are knowledgable, personable and respectful and professionalCons-definitely on the higher end of cost (the plumbing quotes are very high) but for us, the convenience factor meant we did it and didn't shop around. We had a couple minor things to work out after install but emails and calls haven't resulted in a solution. Simple: we paid for a thermostat and didn't use it, so we either want the device or a refund, and also some minor cosmetic damage near the attic access ceiling in our hallway (it happens-but acknowledging it or giving me a small refund for my time spackling, painting and repairing would go a long way!). I would have appreciated more follow up and follow through for a nearly 20k system...somebody asking how things are going, if we have any questions etc. Our install was around the holidays so that probably factors in, but still, a bit disappointing.Update 2/22/26: 2 days after posting this review, the company got in touch and that week we sorted out the thermostat and drywall concerns. I had zero issue receiving and responding to those calls-so I’m not sure if they had the wrong number or what mixup the office had, but the company saying I was hard to reach is simply untrue, and I didn’t appreciate the response implying a communication fault on my end.
Good experience but a few bumps. First one of the installers knock his knee through the ceiling (see picture). Also, some greasy smudge marks on the hallway wall where the furnace was and installed were left I cleaned. One installer said they would tape off wash register but at the end the lead installer said they couldn’t because of stuff on the floor below. Some registers were unobstructed so they could have taped off a few. I am still waiting for a call back about getting the ceiling drywall repaired. I will say that the new furnace works well and is quiet and does the job.
Matthew is a true expert in the plumbing field. His knowledge and diligence is immeasurable.Chris and Omer worked incredibly hard digging clay, rock , roots. 100 feet through my backyard from alley to house replacing the sewer line of a 102 year old house and property.My water bill shooting up determined there was a leak. With great difficulty, with a 7 day job turning into a 3 week job, due to rain, and one solution discovering another problem, they finally finished with no more leaks.They cleaned up my yard, of all debris, and will come back to Level my ground and patch the holes in my walls.Josh and the office kept great communication during the weeks.But they have been great to knowledgeable to talk to, I am very well pleased with them. Despite the cost. My only disappointment is that they didn't strike oil or gold.
I had a fantastic experience working with Comfort Bros. From start to finish, they proved themselves to be a trustworthy and professional company. Josh was my main point of contact and was extremely helpful throughout the entire process, answering all my questions and keeping things on track.We did have a small issue arise after the initial installation, but I was blown away by their responsiveness—they came out the very next day to fix it without any hassle. To top it off, even the local inspectors commented on the high quality of their work. It’s rare to find a company with this much integrity. Highly recommend!"
We had a great experience with Cole at Comfort Bros. We responded to their late summer promo mailer for a $29 A/C Inspection and tune-up. Our initial contact by phone was with Jason who was impressively competent, friendly, and professional.They scheduled us within a day or two for Cole to come out. He texted us ~20 minutes before his arrival and they send you a link that lets you track as he gets closer to your house (nice touch that we hope other contractors adopt!).Cole was the epitome of thorough professionalism and friendliness. He took his time communicating exceptionally well with us both before and after he cleaned and tuned up our AC unit and took many pictures documenting what our unit looked like before and after his efforts. Based on our experiences with Cole we signed up on the spot for their $99/yr. VIP membership program which includes 1 A/C tune up and 1 heater inspection and maintenance visit each year.At those great prices, we thought they might suggest upgrading our HVAC system and Electric panel which they did but we were already considering that. After thorough evaluation of their quote and 4 or 5 others for the Electric Panel replacement and wiring we did find their prices significantly higher than other highly-rated licensed competitors though so we went with a different company. Their initial quote on a new HVAC system also seems high to us, but we have not yet done full due diligence on that as we will need to back burner it until we complete our more urgently needed Electrical work and hopefully save a bit more money.The 5-star rating is for the professionalism of everybody associated with the company, and especially the services we received from Jason and Cole. We will update the rating if we do eventually decide to go with them for our HVAC replacement.
