Great experience with S.G.I. Heating & Cooling. Our installers Jim and James were professional, did great work, and kept us informed throughout the installation. Cramer and Garrett were also very helpful during the sales process and made everything easy to understand. We are very happy with the service and would highly recommend them.
Sales Representative was friendly and very knowledgeable. Service techs were very friendly, courteous and respectful of our home. Everything was clean when they left. They even went over the mechanics of furnace and air conditioner. They did an excellent job.
I went with Home Depot’s recommendation and felt quite confident after the sales pitch that we would be taken care of. Wow was I unimpressed. Our installation was set for Middle of July which I’m sure they were busy and lied to get us to sign can’t really blame them for trying to maintain a business so them pushing install out 2 weeks wasn’t really surprising. After that point I was wholly unimpressed with quality of install and corner cutting that took place. The installers lost a plug for the thermostat so instead of taking care of it I found crimped wire connectors shoved individually into socket which made the unit not run after 2 days and I had to figure it out. Wow what a joke. Then we had issues with air circulation. Found that the return air tube 12" diameter duct was disconnected and lying on the crawlspace floor. Which caused my lines to freeze for the central air and water leaks and puddles in utility room Sweeeeeet. I fixed that. Then in the process I found that the air filtration box was never changed and the filter was wet and had black mold and they said I didn’t order a new air filtration unit. 20000 for a system upgrade and I use a 1980s air box wow . SGI Just wants your money and they skim as much of the quality out as possible. I tried to get them to fix the issues but they acted like I got what I paid for.
Update , property damage incurred due to faulty installation. Will update again after they’ve been given an opportunity to right their wrong. 3 weeks later and still haven’t replaced the carpet. I’m now being told their insurance will only pay depreciated value! Lack of communication and lack of resolution is enough for anyone to stay away from this company. I will continue to update as things progress.Update again , After nearly 3 weeks of mess, equipment running and no family room insurance paid a depreciated amount of new carpet. Scott ( owner) covered the rest. This didn’t have to take this long . Our Christmas is ruined and we won’t have our room back until the second week of January. Part of business ownership is accepting responsibility for mistakes made. The sooner the better . Thru this whole ordeal I was made to feel like I was expecting too much. That’s a problem for any customer that’s had such a a grievous mistake made by the company your suppose to trust . I won’t be giving at reccos and I have spoken to Home Depot who they contract with . Hopefully SGI has learned from their mistake in handling this fiasco and will do better next time .
Great people to work with. From sales to installation everyone from SGI was outstanding. They are all very knowledgeable and professional. They only sell you what you need. They don't try to over-sell you, which says volumes...The installation crew were extremely professional and experienced. They installed a new HVAC system and adjusted multiple air return lines in a very timely manner. I would highly recommend SGI to anyone looking to purchase and/or system your HVAC system... Great job...
