NexGen, the original installer of my HVAC system, visited my home to provide a second repair opinion. Their technician, Leon, conducted a comprehensive review of both the AC and heater. He was very polite and professional!! Despite my HVAC system being several years old, NexGen treated today’s service as if it were a new installation.
I had two visits from two different technicians, one to service my heat/cool system and one to assist with my concern regarding my water heater. Both technicians were amazing and wonderful and addressed my concerns in an excellent manner. Nex Gen technicians always make me feel like I’m part of their family and go above and beyond to make sure everything looks good before they leave. Any plumbing and AC needs, the first company in mind for us to call is NexGen. Since 2022, they have been servicing us and we are always happy for their promptness, organization and professionalism. Yesterday, Tuesday, at 7am, we called for no water heater (a very vital necessity in all of our lives particularly this weather). As I was told no same-day appointment available, they scheduled Wednesday to arrive between 8am-10am. However, I was told they will constantly check and on a look out for the same-day cancellation knowing how important this situation we are. Finally, later in the afternoon, I got a call informing me that the technician will be coming between 4-6pm. Technician JACOB came a little after 3pm. He checked all the moving parts of our Rheem 48 gal water tank (installed in 2014). He gave us diagnostic options: 1. repair (not guaranteed how long it will work fine) and 2. replace. We chose the later. He left to get the tank from their warehouse (thank goodness their office is also in Anaheim but I think they should always have one readily available) and returned. Yes, the cost was pricey (replaced by Bradford White 50 gal brand), however, my husband and I were not lucky for just any handyman working for our home needs. I would just say we learned so much lessons (cost efficient but not good quality and no warranty).JACOB was friendly and professional. He explained things as he goes through the installation (what to look out for and needs to do for maintenance). It took him 2 hours (6pm-8pm) to do the work and waited 30 more minutes while to make sure there is hot water. Thank goodness, our tank is located in the garage. There was water mess, offered to clean however, we said we will take care of it so he can go home (his 2 phones keep on ringing). Yes, success indeed! He is just truly amazing! Thank you.
Great service experience! The Tech was very knowledgeable, professional, friendly, patient and very attentive to details. He performed his inspection of the cooling (compressor) and heating (blower motor) systems and made recommendations with detailed feedback and photos/proof of his measurements and diagnosis tests. The recommended actions were presented in a relaxed way without pressure to pursue during this first visit, that was very much appreciated. Ended up accepting all recommendations and had all necessary services performed during this first visit. Very happy with the outcome.
The technician did excellent work. Paid attention to detail. Hauled away old boiler and enclosure and did a great job of cleaning up. Keep this technician! Customer service was great , too. No long wait time.
