Gill’s has installed 2 furnaces in 2 homes and now a mini-split A/C in loft that will be a total game changer next Summer. Incredible attention to detail in all of the work. Always courteous and responsive to every request. 10 rating across the board! I just learned that I gave a 3 star rating to this 5 star company! I’ve had Gill’s work on three separate projects over the last four years.Their prices are fair.Their work is excellent and their customer service is better.You cannot go wrong with them.I highly recommend.
We had a house built for us by KIB homes and KIB uses Gills heating and cooling as their HVAC contractor. I took the initiative to contact Gills before construction started in order to have some input into the system installed. I met with Bret who is the owner of the company. He went over the house plans in detail with me at his office. The system he designed is, for lack of a better term, spectacular. A Bryant variable stage 98% efficient furnace, a high efficiency AC unit along with a fresh air energy recovery ventilator, an electrostatic air cleaner and a zoned system. Not only was Bret very helpful in helping me pick out a system, he actually seemed to enjoy working with me and commented that it isn’t very often that he gets to have input from the homeowner during the design of a system. KIB built a lovely home for us and Gills provided a system worthy of such a nice home. There were some kinks that needed to be ironed out primarily because Bryant initially provided a faulty AC unit. The system was quite complicated using the latest evolution controller and all the various components need to communicate. Gills was fantastic in their efforts to get everything running as it should in what is quite a complicated setup. The communication with them was excellent and frequently the owner actually answered the phone. Bonnie was excellent at keeping me informed and Jake who spent quite a few hours getting things up and running ( on one occasion driving to our home in Carter with horrendous road conditions) deserves some kind of commendation. I can only say that I am very glad that Gills heating and AC was my contractor. You will not go wrong with them.
Jake came out to finish the install of my mini splits today and absolutely knocked it out of the park. He was professional, knowledgeable, and just an all-around awesome guy to work with. He took the time to make sure everything was set up perfectly, explained how the system works, and left the place spotless. You can tell he really takes pride in what he does. Huge thanks to the whole team for sending someone as solid as Jake — if you need HVAC work done, ask for Jake. You won’t be disappointed!
