Driver came out and didn't check if i had any heat at all, didn't even come in the house. Super unprofessional since the last time he came (just about a week ago) he came in and made sure me and my family had heating. guess he didn't have time at 3pm on a friday. Company then wants $160 just to come out and see what's the issue with my heat, when they were here to do the same thing they did last time. Don't let these lazy people get you, make sure they do the work they should, my family was put in the cold for days because of this company's ignorance.
Bain has been an amazing company since day one! They were recommended by my contractor and Tommy has been servicing our air conditioner and furnace ever since. He is very honest and patient and answers all questions at each visit. I highly recommend!
Jessica Nutt came out to our home and was very knowledgeable and kind. Serviced our oil furnace and took time to explain everything to me and answered all my questions. I signed up for the best service plan on the spot after her top notch job! Highly recommend Bain !
Excellent service. I was having issues with my HVAC and Bain handled it efficiently, explaining everything that needed to be done and it was an affordable fix. I'm so happy I made the choose to hire them. They are definitely great at what they do.
I was a customer of Bain for well over a decade and always maintained an annual contract with them. They installed my new HVAC system (Trane) in 2015 for ~$14K. Until last year, the system performed well and therefore, we did not need much maintenance done; so, we were happy with Bain's service since we didn't need much of it.The true test came this year as our HVAC system got more than 10 years old. We had our annual maintenance done in April and it wasn't two months before we had to call them again to get our AC fixed-turned out, the drainage pipe was clogged; but why this didn't get picked up in the April visit is beyond me.Then, in July, the AC conked out again. Turned out it was just the capacitator (easy and quick to replace) but the Bain technician misdiagnosed that as a failed compressor. We spent almost 2 weeks in the July heat wave without a functioning AC. Bain did not proactively offer to put up a window unit in our bedroom so that we could sleep at nights; we had to request for it and then, they did comply promptly.Bain said that the Trane compressor would arrive sometime within the next 10 business days - during the July heat wave. Almost every day for two weeks, I kept calling them if the compressor had arrived but kept hearing that "Trane doesn't give us shipping information". Finally, when I couldn't take it anymore, I had to remind their service department that any order placed must have been with some dealer who had a contact information that could be used to contact them to get information on a delivery date. I also said that without a firm delivery date, I would move to another service provider. Sure enough, within two hours, we were told that the Trane compressor would arrive within the next three days. The absolute worst part was that when Bain technicians came to replace the compressor, they found that my original compressor was okay and all the AC needed was a new capacitor !! At least, I applaud the technician for being honest. In any case, we suffered in the sweltering heat for no reason.I have since moved on to another service provider for my HVAC maintenance and have no plans of returning to Bain.
