After reaching out to every company in my area, it was clear that JCL heating and cooling was the right choice for me. Tony was very helpful and patient with me. I don’t know much about hvac systems he took the time to explain and really made sure I understood exactly what I needed. We booked an appointment and he installed a new hvac system in my home That was a year ago now and I’ve had no issues with my system, I’m very happy with the results. I was recommended JCL by a friend, I called and made appointment for issues I was having with my hvac system. Tony answered right away and was able to come take a look at my system the next day. He was great, very knowledgeable and polite. He fixed the issue, I couldn’t be any happier with the service. 10/10 will recommend to others.
JCL were very friendly and professional. They got all the work done on the same day. I asked for a new AC unit. They needed to raise the furnace in order to get the new coils installed. They cleaned up after the work was done. Everything looks very good. I got 5 different companies to give me an estimate. They were the best economically. The city of Portland inspectors came out and passed all the work
Toni replace a motor on a furnace in my HOME. He was prompt, professional, and friendly. This was a complicated situation, he figured it out quickly, With a solution. He also communicated with me the entire time, so that I always knew what was happening and the estimate on how long it would take. Highly recommend this company, could not have been any better!
Being a home owner, there comes a time, when major appliances needs to be replaced and a furnace & A/C is not a cheap replacement. I received a couple of estimates from the big name heating shops and was shocked at the cost. I did some further research and stumbled across JCL heating & Cooling . I was surprised that a company would have a 5.0 star rating, compared to the others shops and the reviews seemed to be great, so I'd give them a shot. What's there to lose right? I spoke with Tony to schedule a day and time to do an onsite estimate. He arrived on time and was very professional. He explained in layman terms, a specific type of system, that would be ideal for my setup to replace both the furnace and A/C system. When I received his estimate later that day, I practically fell to the floor. His quote was almost 50% less than the other estimates that I received from the other companies. Sure, you might be saying" I'm not comparing Apples to Apples", but when I spoke with Tony, he compared with me that the other shops were trying to sell me a system that was over sized and included extra bells & whistles that I didn't need. Once I approved Tonys estimate, we scheduled a day and time for replacement. Tony and crew showed up on time and went to work right away. They completed my replacement in one day, compared to the other shops mentioning that this would take 2 days. Once they completed the scope of work, they cleaned up and disposed the old system along with other misc parts. I bet you're now thinking, "The reason why they're so cheap is that this company isn't licensed or legit." Well let me tell you, if this company isn't licensed ,then why would they pull a permit and have the City come out for inspections? Yep, Tony let me know what the permit numbers were for both electrical and mechanical, so that I can schedule at my leisure. City inspector arrived and inspected their work and signed off on both permits as "pass". I'm not being paid or sponsored to write this review. I just wanted to express to others with how impressed and very happy I'm with Tony and his crew. I now have a brand new furnace & A/C system that works flawless and will last for many years with no headaches or issues. If you don't believe me, go ahead and get estimates from the other big name heating companies. Then give Tony a call. You'll be glad you did.
