We originally had Lancaster Heating & Cooling come out to install a whole-house humidifier, but during the visit the technicians noticed some water in our furnace. After taking a closer look, they discovered a crack in the heat exchanger.Thankfully there were no carbon monoxide issues, but the team at Lancaster potentially prevented a dangerous situation that could have put our family, including our kids, at risk. We’re incredibly grateful they caught it when they did.They immediately helped us price out a new furnace replacement that same day and even dropped off space heaters so we could stay warm overnight until the new furnace could be installed the next day.Within 24 hours we were back up and running with a new two-stage furnace that’s already helping us save on energy costs.We can’t thank the team enough for their quick response, professionalism, and for helping us through what could have been a serious situation. Bryce (sales rep) clearly explained my options and got me a great competitive price.Wes & Tony did an excellent job installing the furnace. They were approachable, answering all my questions thoroughly. The installation was very professional, you could see Wes’s experience, knowledge and craftsmanship.Jeff installed the humidifier ensuring it was properly connected.
I had a furnace installed by Lancaster Heating & Cooling on 26 January 2026, and the whole experience was excellent. From first contact through completion, the team was professional, clear, and focused on doing the job right.Customer service was handled very well by Cassandra — she was responsive, organized, and kept me informed about scheduling and what to expect. The installation team, Pat and Mattew, were polite, knowledgeable, and respectful of my home. They arrived on time, worked efficiently, explained each step as they went, and made sure I understood how the new system operates before they left.The crew consistently put the customer’s interests first, answering questions patiently and making recommendations that felt honest and practical. Cleanup after the job was thorough and the new furnace was left working perfectly.Recommendation: I highly recommend Lancaster Heating & Cooling for furnace installations. Their combination of strong customer service, skilled installers, and punctual, customer-focused work made this a smooth, reassuring experience.
Purchased new furnace in 2021 after having a house fire. We did not take possession back of your house until September 2022 and every year like clock work in October when we go to start up the furnace the same codes appears and the furnace will not start. It is a Trane model and we were told it is one of the best. If nothing, Lancaster is consistent with our furnace not staring every year. So far the Control board, Exhaust fan, and pressure switch have been replaced. They even had the gull to charge me a service call and labour of more than $317.00 the first time we had a problem cause the year warranty was up for their labour by 5 days so that their tech could come and tell us your furnace doesn’t work and “I don’t know why”. He then called Trane and changed the control board which worked for that season. They also did not refund the service call. I think it has been an install problem the entire time, but we never get the answer. Don’t recommend them after what we have been through. Making report to BBB. Beware and proceed with caution when using this company should you choose to do so.
