I have always recommended this business and their service to friends and family. They have always been so prompt, kind, and professional. Their receptionist has always made things run smoothly, and I have never once been concerned about the services I received. However, I have made the decision to leave a review, because this is not the company that I trust anymore. This past Friday morning my furnace went out, and I went ahead and planned for the day, as my 5 month old woke up because it was cold. I went to check about office hours and their very first online times said Monday-Thursday 8-4 and Fridays 12am-4pm. The matter was not urgent but I thought I’d go ahead and give their office a call and either leave a message or put in a request for that day or the following week. I called the business number. A man picked up and immediately sounded inconvenienced, and I apologized for calling, as he was snappy, and I told him that it was no rush I just wanted to go ahead and place an appointment. He then was very frustrated and said “honey, no one in this town is up at 5:50 am.” I apologized and told him I would not have called had I known, and he snapped and said that “they” were have supposed to change the times. I apologized again and hung up. I later emailed a cancellation of the appointment, because he had me in tears. He was rude, demeaning, and unprofessional. The company then later updated the times online appropriately. 1. It’s not my job to fix your business hour errors. 2. It’s not my fault for calling a company I trusted, according to the business hours. 3. Turn off your business phone or send it to voicemail, if that is the point of contact for the company, if you aren’t taking business calls. Being rude to committed clients for doing no wrong is abhorrent. I will not be utilizing this business and their service anymore, because if basic respect is not offered, then there’s no reason for me to remain supportive or encourage others to do the same.
The good people at Jim Smith literally saved my life. Discovered a carbon minoxide issue with my heat ; they came out the same day and got me fixed up. The only company I called who cared enough to come out that quickly. They treat you like family. Thank you, God Bless you all, especially the receptionist who is wonderful.

They consistently go above and beyond to make sure the repair and payment process goes smoothly. Jim Smith Services is one of the best in town, I highly recommend them.
I was very pleased with all areas of service! Customer Service was quick to answer the phone and got me an appointment right away to get my air checked on! She was happy to help and very polite! They were prompt at getting to my house for the appointment and took care of everything that I needed that day! We had to order a part and it was ordered and received quickly! I would use them again and I highly recommend them if you need any work done!
Always have had wonderful experiences with this company. So glad I switched to them. Just called on a hot SUNDAY afternoon in July and Jim Smith came over in 15 minutes. What more could you ask for?!? Thank you.
