I do not recommended buying a Fujitsu mini-split from Sid Harvey.I have/had a Fujitsu15,000 Btu unit/air conditioner for only two years and the fan, compressor and control board failed last weekend (8/10/2024). They had a FRU of the fan in stock, but no control board or compressor. They said they could get a control board hopefully in a week but the compressor would need to come from China and it would take a month and a half. My servicer called Sid Harvey's area manager and he said this is the best they could do with Fujitsu even though all of the service parts/FRUs were under the 5 year warranty period. We asked if we could exchange the outside system since so many parts have failed, but they said this was not possible either. Then they tried to "up sell" my servicer into buying a new outside unit for me since they could not deliver on the service parts in a timely fashion.I've worked in industry for 44 years and we always had to keep parts in stock for at least 7 years as FRUs. Sid Harvey's policy of having no inventory on a compressor (one of the most common/critical parts of an AC unit), and their attempt to rectify this situation by "up selling" another unit is terrible and totally unreasonable.I'm having my servicer put in a different manufacturer's mini split unit, which is made in the USA with 12 year parts warranty-USA parts, and from a different distributor tomorrow, all at my expense.If I could have rated Fujitsu/Sid Harvey 0 stars instead of one star, I would have.

EXCELLENCE SERVICE;THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH RYAN NAPIER. RYAN is exceptional person. We had to have an igniter on Saturday which the store closed at 1100 am and we would not be able to make it until that time. Ryan said he would stay open until we got there which was at 11:00am. Ryan said he understood and would help us out. GREAT customer service by Ryan!
