Caleb arrived at the scheduled time. Did an excellent job to install the new water heater and left the area cleaner than what it was when he showed up. He was very friendly, knowledgeable and had a lot of patience with all of the questions he was asked. I have recommended Caleb, Justice and Steve to my family and coworkers. They truly are the "heroes" when you need someone who knows what they are doing!!
This was our initial time using Hometown Heroes. I am not only impressed with my new HVAC company, but I was thrilled to have Levi inspect our heating system. I found Levi to be extremely knowledgeable, quite thorough, and an absolute joy to work with. He shared information as to simple ways I can help my system work more efficiently as well as alterations we can make to or Furnace to make things better in the future. I will gladly welcome Levi into home again.
I deeply regret choosing Home Town Heros HVAC. I went with them because of the lower price point on the unit, but I quickly learned that the lack of honor and technical knowledge was not worth the savings.From day one, the experience was poor. The installation crew lacked professionalism and the quality of the install itself was sloppy. It was immediately clear they didn’t fully understand the solution they were delivering.The biggest issue, however, was their incompetence with the thermostat configuration. They improperly configured the system during installation, which resulted in me paying outrageously high heating bills for months. When I called them to fix it, they had the audacity to charge me a service fee just to update the thermostat to the settings they should have set correctly in the first place.To make matters worse, I have held a service plan with them for two years. Despite regular "maintenance" checks, they never caught this glaring configuration error. Instead of owning their mistake, they blamed me, claiming I must have changed the settings myself.The lack of accountability is astounding. If you are looking for a company that stands by their work and admits when they are wrong, look elsewhere. I wish I had gone with a more reputable company from the start.
Experience was great. I called this morning for someone to come check my furnace because my house is freezing. I think my furnace has stopped working...He checked everything out and explained the problem. He showed the pic to me. I ask to see almost everything else and a lot of whys and what ifs. He explained it all to me with a very personable attitude. They will be installing a brand new heating system TODAY. I am so satisfied because it's freezing cold and colder tonight. Thank youInstallation went well. They started and finished in a timely manner. Both guys were friendly. They had no problems. I'm very satisfied. Thank you.
