We would like to extend our sincere appreciation to Monica Soares for her excellent assistance in coordinating the cleaning of multiple air conditioning units and thermopumps within our condominium building. We were offered a competitive group rate and a detailed schedule, which we shared with our co-owners. The team that performed the service, comprising Juan and Gustavo, demonstrated a high level of professionalism. They took the time to ensure we understood the appropriate cleaning levels for our equipment and provided thorough explanations of their procedures. Additionally, they maintained a clean work environment by cleaning up after themselves. As a result, our AC systems are now functioning significantly better. We look forward to working with them again next year and will specifically request the same team for future service.

We had a central air system installed by Klimfax, and the overall experience was excellent. Maxime gave us quotes for different models and was very quick to respond. Dany and Mis were skilled installation technicians that provided us with great and professional service. We would highly recommend Klimfax to others.

Klimfax came through for us again. Sales rep Brendan proposed excellent solutions to our needs that we hadn’t considered. Installation was efficient and had a much cleaner and less visible installation plan than other companies that we had consulted in this process. During the installation process, Jeremy, the team leader, walked us through every detail to make sure there would be no surprises and all would be to our satisfaction. Jeremy, along with his team Nicholas and Vincent, were all exceptionally professional, nice, and courteous throughout the installation. They left the house clean, and at the end Jeremy went out of his way to explain our new system in great detail. Thanks, Klimfax, for delivering what we wanted quickly and painlessly.

Got a Carrier unit installed in July of 2018. September of 2021 we start having leaking issues, as well as ice build-up and the air just not being very cold. I was informed when I called to setup the appointment, that the cost of the call was 155$, but was charged 185$, and then an additional 212$ for 2 additional hours of work. 2 hours that turned out to be unnecessary. The technician informed me that we need to clean the inside of the wall unit as well as the unit outside every year, which we were not told about when the unit was installed; Only that the filter on top of the unit needed to be cleaned every month (which we do). So the initial installers did not inform us properly on how to maintain our unit. That would have negated the need for this service call. After the technician cleaned my unit, he tested the refrigerant. He noticed that the amount of refrigerant was low. After not finding a leak, he emptied the refrigerant, then refilled it. Or possibly didn't. It seemed like he barely knew what he was doing. I was charged additional fees for the test, removing the refrigerant, and the replacement refrigerant. No mention of additional fees for any of these steps. We can assume that the initial installers did not fill the unit properly as we had to set the machine to 17 degrees to cool the house from the beginning (only knowing now that should have not been the case). Aside from that, I was informed only once I got the bill that there is an additional fee of 26.50$ for each 15 additional minutes after the initial hour of the service call. The initial diagnosis of the problem and cleaning was done within the 1st hour. There was an additional 2 hours of useless testing, finding no leak. Having to pay over 600$ for what turned out to be a simple cleaning of the unit is outrageous. They refunded a portion of that bill after I contacted them about it, but the story continues. This was in September last year. Cut to this week and we start the machine up and its the same as before. No cold air, it barely cools when set to 18 or 17 degrees. There is constant ice build-up that we remove twice a day. I have tried contacting them multiple times in the last week but have not gotten a response. Edit - 2022-05-25 - Still no contact from them, even though you can see below they "take this very seriously". I can clearly see how they feel about after sales issues. Edit - After going to the business and speaking with them, they sent another technician who found a leak within 30 seconds. The unit was defective and since it was under warranty they exchanged it. They only charged me the displacement fees for their technicians which was greatly appreciated, normally we would have been charged more. Now a few months later the new unit is much quieter and more powerful I find. I updated my rating from 1/5 to 4/5, since they could have done a better job of contacting me. If you are too busy to schedule an appointment at least let me know. Only after going to see them did I get anything done. I do applaud their steps to make it right, though.
