We first met Tyler last year when our new AC system was installed, and he was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable—taking the time to answer all of our questions and offer helpful tips.This year when our system wasn’t cooling properly, the office was quick to get a technician out, and Tyler came back to help us again. He quickly diagnosed the issue and got right to fixing it, explaining everything clearly along the way.I’m currently 6 months pregnant, and even though I mentioned vacuuming the return vent was on my to-do list, Tyler went out of his way to clean it for me without hesitation. SIMPLY THE BEST!! ?????? Our AC compressor stopped working on June 23rd, 2024. We had a very hot house and very warm fussy baby! Harris Air Services were able to prioritize our call and had an excellent tech (Jose G.) dispatched WITHIN AN HOUR!! Jose was very respectful of our home and very honest about the issue -- we had popped the compressor capacitor.Instead of recommending a costly replacement or just replacing the capacitor (which was likely to fail again, now that it's failed once), he recommended their electrical rebuild kit, which also replaces the electrical contact / control module, and includes a hard start kit (a secondary capacitor to lighten the initial electrical load). This was the ideal solution!Their services are already VERY competitive and affordable (diagnostic fee was quoted at just $89, and waived with a repair purchase), but they also offer an annual membership program that includes TWO A/C system maintenance visits per year -- to keep the system running at peak efficiency with maximum life -- along with exclusive discounts for any repairs that do come up. The membership is normally $189 the first year and $165 per year after, but bundling it with the compressor electrical rebuild kit increased the total just $30, making it a really great deal!Jose and Harris Air Services had us cooling again in about an hour after arrival, and even went above and beyond to check the whole system, top to bottom, and clean the compressor. Can't thank them enough and HIGHLY RECOMMEND them! ??????????UPDATE 8/25/25 -- Just had another EXCELLENT Harris Air Technician, Manny, come out for our first (completely covered) biannual AC maintenance. Terrific experience! Manny was super thorough, very forthcoming about all the factors we need to be aware of, and recommended additional services to keep our system running at peak efficiency in this crazy Texas heat! ??
