My AC broke and it was hot. I have two young kids in the house. We were desperate to get the AC working so they could sleep.Emergency AC came out and gave me two options:• Replace the entire unit (which would take three days)• Replace several parts and repair it the same dayThe repair price was $3,800. I knew it was way out of market pricing, but when your house is hot and your kids can't sleep, you don't have the luxury of shopping around. That's exactly the situation this company seems to depend on.A few weeks later, the AC broke again.Another technician came out and discovered something unbelievable: one of the key components they charged me for - a filter drier - was never installed.Because that part wasn't installed, the line became clogged and the system shut down. The technician literally looked at the unit and said:"Ugh…I cannot believe these people."So not only did they charge me thousands of dollars, they didn't even install the parts they billed me for, and their mistake caused the system to fail again.They had to order the part and come back the next day to install the component I had already paid for weeks earlier and clear the clogged line.But it gets worse.I financed the repair through their financing program. The signed work order was $3,800. When I checked the financing account, they had charged the bank $4,300.They overcharged me by $500.I have called their office 6-8 times asking them to fix this. Every time I'm told they will refund the bank. Weeks later, they still have not corrected the charge.So here is the final result of using Emergency AC:• Charged $3,800 for a repair• Did not install parts they billed me for• Their mistake caused my AC to fail again• Overcharged my financing by $500• Ignored repeated calls to fix the billingIn my opinion, the name "Emergency AC" exists because they target people who are in desperate situations and don't have time to compare prices.If your AC breaks, do yourself a favor and call literally anyone else.
Not sure how to feel yet. Response was quick, service was professional on Friday. However, knowing there could be a potential leak I was still charged $800 for Freon. So basically wasted $800 because AC is not working today, Sunday. I actually had to call my main AC person to come tomorrow. I know he would’ve checked everything there and then and made sure I didn’t spend $ that could have gone to an actual repair. I’m not a tech and absolutely have no idea about ACs so won’t assume anything but just frustrated. I should have waited for my guy as opposed to calling an emergency.Update: I just want to thank the company for being so responsive. After my review, they quickly contacted me and offered help to make sure my problem was resolved. Although I did not use them at this time, I wouldn't hesitate to contact them again if needed because truly their responsiveness and professionalism was up to par.
Im an old Clinte of them, and just let me say this is one of the most honest and genuine company out there! Highly recommend.! Ask for Nate you won’t regret it!!! Last service I got with them is a HVAC coating to remove any type of fungus and protect my health and systems, I’m attaching a small piece of the job so you can see and judge yourself, and I got it for about 30%-40% less from 4 other companies that came for an estimate. And I’m happy with the results just call them with your problem and let them handle the rest.!
Call them in the middle of the night got responded in no time the technician was in my house less than an hour very professional, very fast very reasonable price specially for the time the service was placed. It highly recommended also gotta put a good wall for the customer service. They were patient with me and very nice. Highly recommended. Very good company.!
Jesse is a great person. And also professional good technician.!!!Update!!!Within 2 months of service, my AC capacitor broke down. When I checked it myself, I discovered they had replaced my original capacitor (40/5 440V) with the wrong one (55/5 440V), which is not recommended for my AC unit. To make it worse, they actually covered the label with black tape so customers couldn’t see which part was installed. I even added a picture as proof.They charged me $465.75 for this “repair,” while today I bought the correct capacitor for only $32 and replaced it myself without any problem.This feels like a clear case of dishonesty, overcharging customers, and deliberately hiding the wrong part that can damage equipment. Very disappointing and untrustworthy. If you value your money and your AC system, double-check everything they do, or look for a more honest company.!!!Update!!!After posting my second review, I really appreciate that the company took my concerns seriously and truly took care of me. They immediately sent out a technician named Andrew, who was very professional and knowledgeable. He quickly found the problem and worked with his support colleague to provide a good solution at a fair price.The GM of the company also personally called me back, which I truly appreciate. I was very upset about what happened before, but this time their exceptional service has made me happy. Thank you for your support and for making things right.
