Our furnace went out on one of the coldest days of the year, and the next day, they responded and came to fix the issue. I can’t recommend Modern Heating enough! We were dealing with a no-heat issue that persisted for quite a while, and despite multiple attempts, we couldn’t figure out what was wrong. The tech and staff at Modern Heating were absolutely determined and dedicated to getting it resolved. They didn’t nickel and dime me for every little thing, and it was clear they genuinely cared about helping rather than just making a quick buck. Modern H&AC did a superb job in helping us do all the preparation to install a heat pump heating and cooling system with a hybrid dual-fuel gas furnace back-up. They helped us qualify for the state of Connecticut CTEnergize rebates, the 0.99% financing from CT Green Bank, and the federal tax credits. The Modern crew showed up on time and completed the job of removing the old equipment and installing the new system in one day. It appears to be working perfectly.
Modern Heating replaced my 40 year old gas furnace with a new high efficiency condensing gas fired furnace. They installed a new PVC pipe and thermostat. Mike Fiori provided me with a detailed written estimate explaining what products would be used and how they would be installed. Tim Ryan and his crew installed the new furnace. They came at the scheduled time, were professional, courteous and cleaned up after installation. Tim showed me how to program my new thermostat, change the battery and he made sure my furnace was working before he left. Modern contacted me throughout the installation process from initial appointment to installation. They lines of communication were excellent and they were always available to answer my questions. This is a really great company to work with and I recommend them highly. They are honest, professional and their prices are very competitive. I have my service contract with Modern and will call them when I need to replace my hot water heater. I am very happy with my new furnace. It has been a pleasure to do business with Modern Heating!
