A lengthy review & testimony warning that is worth reading: I called Tropical Heating after a bad experience from musso plumbing & heating. I purchased my Rheem furnace 2009. I haven't had any issues w/ my furnace. Suddenly my my furnace would not turn on. I called musso plumbing bc I had them do a once over yearly check prior bc they had a special running in 2024. All was well....This appointment.... ALL WASN'T! They charged me $302. 33 for travel fee $199 for diagnostic. Tech rtn, furnance back on but would not stay on. Called musso the gen mgr said he will NEED to charge me for a travel fee to send a tech out for the 3rd time?? Now mind you it's 3 -5 degrees out. I ask for a refund on diagnostic fee. He said he will refund me toward a new furnance?????? I called tech who came out twice from musso. He came back , did not charge me on his own & got my furnace wking again. So I called Tropical Heating, bc I wasn't comfortable w/ how I was handled by musso. Dave from Tropical Heating came through like FAMILY. He check my furnance replace my filter & gave me an honest diagnostic. Now get this! No charge......that I believe bc Dave HEARD me & felt the need to give me his OUT STANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE! Not bc he didn't charge me, but how he SERVICE ME! This company have that thing that has been lost. Good Customer Service! I am a Banker & I take pride in my Customer Service to SERVICE my accounts to the best of my ability. musso plumbing SHOWED me through Tropical Heating. They are a company you want to stay away from!!!!! They left me in the cold! It was about getting more money from me instead of making sure they service me correctly. Tropical Heating a BIG THANK YOU & THANK GOD for sending Dave The Gentleman of customer service. I will never forget how YOU cared & made sure that I was not left out in the cold.....
Tropical Heating and Cooling did a fantastic job installing our new furnace and AC two years ago. We’ve since joined their service plan, and it’s been a great decision. They are incredibly reliable with emergency calls, and Dave is professional and truly the best to work with. Highly recommend!
I cannot say enough positive things about This company. Had a recent bad experience with one of the big names out there And turned to Tropical. These people are transparent In their pricing and don’t take advantage of you, they take time to explain, educate you on what’s going on without talking down to you, and are beyond responsive when you need help. These guys are my new go to for HVAC needs! I highly recommend!
Great experiences with Tropical. They fixed our furnace fast and had everything working perfectly again. We also had mini splits installed with them and they work great too. Professional, responsive, and reliable. Dave or Lindian are usually the techs are both great guys. Highly recommend.
My furnace would not come on overnight, dropping house temperature to an uncomfortable level. I searched the reviews on google for a company with great reviews. Tropical was rated the best. I called, got a same day appointment, and was very impressed with the technician they sent. As a retired appliance service tech myself, I was impressed by Lindian’s professionalism. He explained what he was doing along the way, and why. I now have good heat again and a service company for life. Thank you all at Tropical.
