Oakville Home Comfort

We recently had a high-efficiency furnace and humidifier installed by Binnie Mechanical Heating and Air Conditioning. Dave and his team were exceptional—efficient, fast, friendly, and professional. We were thoroughly impressed with their work and highly recommend Binnie Mechanical to anyone looking to improve their home’s air quality and comfort.

We recently replaced our furnace, air conditioner and whole home humidifier at our place in Oakville, Ontario. We received two quotes for the job and, remarkably enough, they were within $200 of each other. We went with Binnie Mechanical (Oakville Home Comfort) and we’re pleased with the work. Dave (Binnie) and his team (Ryan, Chris, Tyler and Brayden) installed American made Trane equipment (pre-tariff stock) that looks great and is performing well. Dave’s guys were professional and friendly. Chris even walked me through using the Ecobee app that controls the Ecobee smart thermostat. Dave’s an honest Oakville guy who stands behind his HVAC equipment and installation. I would recommend Binnie Mechanical to anyone looking to improve their home’s air quality and comfort.

Fantastic experience!! Replacing a furnace would not be considered one of the sexier home improvements but certainly a very important one and the experience having Oakville Home Comfort (Binnie Mechanical) do the job was excellent. Dave and his entire team were tremendous to deal with from start to finish: from setting up the estimate appt with Pat and Kerry at the office, to Dave explaining everything in detail and taking the time to answer any questions we had and to Paul and Zac doing great work performing the install while also answering any questions throughout. Dave is very knowledgable, informative and tells it like it is. He is very honest in what he is selling and is not pushy nor does he try to upsell you. From the quotes we were provided all were very similar but there were significant differences in what work would be performed for the similar quotes and what would be included and that very much leaned in favour of Dave and his team. We had our original Trane single stage (builder installed) replaced with a Trane two stage. The original was directly on the floor but Dave recommended to have the new furnace raised with a 6" lift box so the furnace would not only be off the ground, but the new boat boot made as part of the install coupled with the Honeywell air filter provides more air flow / filter cleaning. No other quotes mentioned this. Plus changing the filter is a breeze. Paul and Zac rerouted our piping to ensure there would not be any potential condensation from the coil dripping into the furnace (a builder oversight). Again, no other quotes made mention of this. In all parts of the install, they would provide extra touches where needed with no added costs. Another recommendation was to replace the existing coil and thank goodness we did. Once again, no other quotes made mention of this although this instance was an extra cost because we were replacing the coil but extremely well worth it.The coil the builder installed was ridiculous when compared to the Trane coil it was replaced with. The guys were professional, were very respectful of our home and keeping things clean throughout the work performed. We will be using Dave and his team to replace our AC unit in the spring having had such a great experience and I would highly recommend them.

We purchased our furnace from Oakville Home Comfort two years ago. Very happy with the salesman, very informative. Sales pitch was not aggressive. Office staff friendly and helpful. Installation went very well and the two technicians were excellent. Today had repairman in to check out humming noise from furnace. He was very friendly and did a great job. Found problem right away and fixed in speedy fashion. We will for sure being using Oakville Home for our yearly maintenance for our furnace and AC. Highly recommend Oakville Home Comfort.
