Our gas water heater stopped working, so I called Enercare. Greg came to inspect it and found that our 18-year-old tank was leaking internally and that the burner was completely soaked. He informed us that we needed a new tank. Arrangements were made, and the following day, February 25, Ryan and Ethan arrived with a new GSW gas water heater.Ryan was courteous and clearly explained the installation process. They arrived on time and completed the installation within the expected timeframe. After several days without hot water, my wife and I were very happy to have it restored. My wife had to clean and dry the floor because the old tank had leaked. However, yesterday my wife noticed a pool of water on the floor underneath the new water tank. When I checked where the water was coming from, I found that it was leaking from the hot water pipe between the tank and the shut-off valve. The joint appears to have been only partially welded, which is causing the leak.I was very disappointed, as I did not expect an Enercare technician to perform substandard work. A welded pipe joint should be completed thoroughly and tested to ensure there are no leaks.I called the Enercare hotline again yesterday and spoke with Juan about the leaking pipe caused by the poorly welded joint. Another service visit has been scheduled for today. I am hoping Enercare will send an experienced technician to correct the issue properly.
Billy and Adam were absolutely excellent. My water boiler went out and they were able to replace it the same day, which I really appreciated. They showed great professionalism throughout the entire process and took the time to walk me through everything clearly. Truly the kind of service you hope for. Billy and Adam are the perfect example of what Enercare employees should be. Highly recommend.
I am absolutely impressed with the good job the Enercare installers Andrew H., Ryan G. and Chris B. did installing a new furnace and heat pump. They went over their head crawling in small spaces to put in new pipes and turning a very bad former installation into a very professional new one. Thanks also for Rick B. For being there to supervise the amazing job.I now have peace of mind knowing that a good company and amazing technicians are behind my heating system
