Buckhorn did a superb job … everything they promised was done exactly as they committed.. on time .. very thorough attention to installation and follow-up to ensure all was problem free. Buckhorn Heating and Air Conditioning came through for me in a big way to help out with my project to get a Lennox SL25XPV heat pump (Inverter based variable speed compressor) and Lennox SL99V furnace (variable speed blower/gas control valve) as I wanted to stay with a Lennox system as my existing Lennox smart communicating S40 thermostat could easily be paired with this new equipment. They worked with another great HVAC contractor in town to obtain the equipment from Lennox Canada so as I could apply for the FortisBC dual fuel rebate as Buckhorn is an approved HVAC contractor for the rebate program which is $10,000 + $3,000 northern top up amount. Al was great to work with and his techs Zack and Bud did a great job completing the installation, would highly recommend Buckhorn for any HVAC needs but more so if your seriously considering the FortisBC dual fuel rebate program as currently in PG (March 2025) there's only 6 other approved HVAC contractors + Buckhorn Heating and Air Conditioning.
We replaced our 18.5 yr old furnace with a new dual fuel system that's eligible for the Fortis Rebate. They helped us pick the correct unit that is also eligible for the Canada Greener homes loan. From the quote process and answering all my questions to booking and completing the install on the day they said they would; they were great. If your interested in a dual fuel system or for any of your other HVAC needs I recommend them. Excellent customer service and super friendly to deal with. We now have reliable heating and air conditioning for years to come.
