I called as they are listed as HVAC contractors for Rochester and someone I know recommended them. Checked out the reviews and the website and everything looked good. Called to schedule a service, they said they no longer cover Rochester. If thats the case you should probably remove all mentions of Rochester from your website and google.
We have a septic system. Response time was better than hoped for or expected. We called Friday evening, and they were out Sat morning. Dan was very professional, he was considerate of my home, and knew how to solve my sewer problem. He explained my options and cost differences. He apologized when it took longer than expected due to his having to run for a part. In review, he showed me a video of my now clean main line, tested all water lines to make sure they flowed freely and gave a suggestion on how to avoid the problem in the future. He also explained their guarantee. I recommend Hero and I recommend Dan for your sewer needs.
We had Brady come out for a simple repair that we just couldn’t figure out related to the wiring of our thermostat. He put batteries in the thermostat and said it was working. I told him it worked before without batteries but the heat kicked on and it wasn’t before so I thought it was fixed. This cost is $237 for him to put batteries in the thermostat. A few days later we needed to turn the AC on, when we switched the thermostat to AC nothing happened. So now our AC does not turn on.Edit to add: I contacted Hero again and they were able to send someone out quickly even though they were booked for the day. It was a very simple and easy fix (again). I just wish it didn’t require a 2nd trip out to fix it. I appreciate them resolving this quickly and professionally.
First time working with Hero for my furnace issues and I will definitely not go anywhere else. Andrew did such a great job cleaning my furnace and diagnosing the issue. After the issue was found, he walked me through the steps needed to heat my house this winter. I'm very grateful and pleased with the service Andrew and the company Hero provided. I would recommend anyone needing any issue fixed with plumbing, heating and cooling to give Hero a call. They won't disappoint.
