We had an issue with our AC and called Sanborn’s Air Conditioning and Heating for service. A technician came out, diagnosed a faulty capacitor, and replaced it. The entire visit took around 30 minutes. We looked up the price of the replacement part online and found that it costs around $20.I was shocked when we were hit with a $600 invoice for such a quick and simple repair, especially during regular business hours. While I understand there are labor and service fees involved, the pricing felt excessive and disproportionate with the time and materials involved.As a female customer, I couldn’t help but feel like I was taken advantage of. I strongly encourage others to shop around and compare quotes before committing to service. There are likely more transparent and reasonably priced options out there.
Great experience - they managed to get us in for an air conditioner repair very quickly (our air had been out for several days and we were SO appreciative) and then they were even able to repair it same day. Our technician Jose was extremely nice and very professional and explained everything that needed to be done. They worked with us as far as financing also and made everything very easy to manage. We’ll definitely be calling them in the future if we need further work done!
