Recent reviews highlight punctual scheduling, with technicians often arriving on time or earlier with notice. Many customers mention clear explanations, upfront diagnostic fees, and work completed for or under the estimated amount. Several notes praise practical recommendations without upselling and follow-up support when needed. A minority of feedback cites concerns about addressing specific refrigerator noise issues.

Steve from Next HVAC was a nice guy and honest too. The furnace was getting an overheating error code the past 1.5 weeks. But when he came to diagnose the problem the furnace starting working again. Instead of charging me some fictitious repair fee, he just charged me the $70 diagnostic fee which was already disclosed upfront. The furnace probably started working again because I emptied the bucket of water where the HE condensate hose was going into a few days before Next HVAC's service call. A few years earlier Innovative Mechanical came to inspect the furnace and all their tech did was remove the condensate hose from the bucket and he ended up charging me $335 for being there 1hr 15 minutes. Next HVAC was at my house maybe 45-60 minutes. Safe to say Innovative Mechanical got their money but lost a customer forever while Next HVAC gained a customer that will be calling them the next time I need a furnace repair or replacement.

The reason for the repair was that my refrigerator was not cycling off and running consistently. I know this isn't normal, because someone I know has the same exact refrigerator and it often goes off when it has reached its cooling temperature. I also shared there was an on and off humming sound that sounded like a fan not working and wasn't sure if that was the reason for it not cycling off. This was never addressed. THe tech person just adjusted the door and reported it was a seal issue and that should fix it, but since adjusting the door, the fridge has still never cycled off and the sound is still there. the fee for the diagnosis was reasonable but I was hoping for a correct assessment and my fridge hasn't been diagnosed or repaired. So paid ended up making a donation to the business because nothing was fixed.

These folks were great. They scheduled a visit without much delay. The technician didn't just show up on time -- they called and asked if he could come earlier. They explained everything clearly -- including that some of the things I was seeing were entirely normal and didn't require repairs. The actual repair that was needed got done under the estimate amount. And, finally, the technician told me I shouldn't pay them until I'd observed the furnace working and felt secure that it was fixed. Bottom line, they're absolutely who I'm going to call if I have any HVAC problems in the future.

Next installed a new furnace and I was very happy with the results.

Their initial selection model recommendation was exactly what I needed. They did not attempt to upsell me or try to get me to buy something fancy I did not need. The brand they chose was highly rated on consumer reports.

Their dispatcher Rose was vey helpful for scheduling and responsive.

The install techs helped walk me through a specific concern I had about dryer lint in my ducts while they installed the furnace. They showed me pictures of the inside of the vents and the work they had done. Thank you guys!

So far, so good. The repairman showed up right on time. He quickly diagnosed the problem (faulty drain pump). Now, I am waiting for an estimate to repair it. Hopefully it will be reasonably priced. Fingers crossed.

Update: It was reasonably priced. And he came right on time again for the repair appointment So I’m happy.

Another update: when original repair did t quite fix it, they came back 48 hours later at no cost and spent about 45 minutes making it right. Highly recommend! They won’t “leave you hanging”
