The nightmare continues! Technicians are nice and after three visits they found the problem...rodents chewing on wires and wire nuts. The installers of the system (GVEC) used the old thermostat wire and failed to put the wire connections in a junction box...preferring to stick them in the penetration through a wall. The penetration had no sealing to keep rodents out. So they told me they'd need a fourth visit to replace the thermostat wire. Didn't think it would be a problem as we have two systems. Wake up this morning and the other system is now dead. No heat. Monday is supposed to 29 degrees . They've been working this issue for three weeks. The estimated thermostat wire replacement cost is $1600. It should have been replaced on the system replacement job. It was $22,000 for both units. We're still paying for the replacement units.

We have been having several issues with our five year old unit. Brandin was assigned to diagnose our unit and we were so glad he was. He knew exactly what was happening with the outdoor unit and what was required for repair. We had a call within 48hrs to schedule the repair. Brandin came out and repaired our unit the following week and it is running smoothly. We were so grateful to him and the lady at the office for sending him our way!
