Had Hot Frost install a mini-split system for us in the summer of 2025. I dealt with Madison and Brayden when being quoted, and the crew who did the install were Brad, Mack and Jonah. All five folks were very friendly and professional. Hot Frost were recommended to me for their professionalism and I was not disappointed. The Daikin systems they install are a little pricier than others, but they are backed by a 12 year warranty on parts and labour.
Had Brandon from hot frost heat pumps in Mount Pearl, NL just out to my home to diagnose many many issues with a newly installed heat pump system. It was installed by another installer. My system hasn’t worked since initial install . The initial tech didn’t care about my issues and was ignoring my calls, email and texts. Brandon took the time to explain the system to me, articulate exactly what he meant with the terminology and laid out everything that was wrong and more. I can’t say enough good things about how will this man explained things to me and laid out all the issues. Best installer I’ve ever come into contact with. Friendly and extremely knowledgeable. I would highly recommend him to fix any issues and treat you as if your family and really cares when he’s explaining things to makesure you understand. A+++++ if I could give 10 stars I would!

My partner and I never shopped around much for companies that deal with heat pump supply and installation; we went with Hot Frost mainly because of the quality reviews and location in proximity to our home. Madison helped us from day one when we called, and the excellent service and smooth coordination carried throughout the entire process - from consultation to install.The entire team at Hot Frost were extremely helpful with getting exactly what worked best for us, and the install was so clean and crisp that it truly was appreciated when we stood back and seen it all completed for the first time. The two carpenters working on renovations for our home recognize quality work; they were very impressed with the care and quality of the install that Hot Frost provided. This added an extra layer of assurance and confirmation that we made the right choice in choosing them for the project.Regarding the heat pump install, the two workers from Hot Frost were on site nearly the entire day. They installed the main unit along with two other heads, managed to run the wiring through the attic, and still had time to run through the ins and outs of operating the heat pump appropriately.We loved their professionalism and quality of work so much that we decided to also install an air exchange system on the top level of our home. The work was done in a day and a half by another excellent crew! We even received a small discount for being return customers. If you're in the market for a heat pump or air exchange system, you won't be disappointed with Hot Frost. The standard for quality work is high, the entire crew has been knowledgeable and professional, the pricing was fair and reasonable, and lastly, they make serviceability to your home a true pleasure through friendliness and hard work. This has been a tremendous experience that I would recommend to anyone in the market for what Hot Frost offers.
Incredible job. Super polite, punctual, clean work, professional all around. My wife spoke with Madison first who gave a great assessment for us. (I’m going to mess the names up, so by’s I’m sorry if I get it wrong) Brad, electrician, Ben and Noah, installers, all of you guys gave exceptional customer service. Took the time to show me how to operate the mini split. Were able to mount it exactly where I needed it to be, trimmed off excess and wrapped it safely so no one would bump into the rack it was mounted on.I’ve recommended you all to another friend of mine already , I’ll be sure to follow up with him and point him your way.Have a great summer!
