An A/C technician from another company came out (no charge) and found that a part (covered under warranty) went bad in my TRANE unit installed by Optimal. Since it didn't show that they registered it with TRANE, I had no choice but to have them come out ($89 charge). Their technician came out and told me the part was not covered until he saw that I had proof. They decided to cover it, but would charge $760 for labor (it would take around 3 hours). I called numerous companies and none of them charges more than $300 for labor (also Google says median charge is from $200 to $400). They were clearly trying to charge me for the part anyway. I called and they tried to tell me the other companies are dishonest etc...I called and they reduced tne amount by $225. I asked to think about it, and less than an hour later I got a call that they had found my warranty and that I should do it with someone else. They still took my $89; I asked about my warranty before they came out and the operator said the technician could waive it. My initial company came out and changed out the part in less than an hour (labor with warranty) for $250 (Optimal told me they had to be unethical). If you want to be overcharged and deal with a company that does not take any accountability, use OPTIMAL.

Great experience with Optimal Air Solutions. Communication was excellent from start to finish and the team showed up on time, professional, and knowledgeable. They took the time to explain everything clearly instead of just trying to sell unnecessary work. The quality of service was top notch and everything was left clean when the job was completed. Hard to find companies these days that actually do what they say they’re going to do, but these guys delivered. Highly recommend.

On 10/21/25, Optimal Air Solutions LLC's technician, Jacob Settle, installed an RGF Environmental Group, Inc.'s HALO-LED In-duct Air Purification System in my house. Excellent customer service, and a very knowledgeable and professional technician, as usual. I highly recommend Optimal Air. They are TOP NOTCH, and also have installed my Trane HVAC system, and my AprilAire media filter. All of these components work together perfectly. Not only is the air in my house fresh and clean, but my Trane system is efficient (with a smart thermostat) and has reduced my electric bills and even controls the humidity in the house. I've been a customer of Optimal Air for several years now and love every product they have recommended and installed. Their pricing is fair. By fair, I don't mean "so-so". I mean "just" and "honest". You can buy something on Amazon and install it yourself and save a buck. But, for me and my house, I want my HVAC and air purification environment set up and maintained by professionals. I have absolutely had a return on my investment thus far and I'm sure I'll be able to say the same about the HALO-LED. -Sincerely, a Happy Customer!
