I’ve had 2 excellent experiences now with Genesee heating and air-conditioning. At the end of January, I woke up on one of the coldest days of the winter and my heat had gone out. Called them up, they came out that morning, and they quickly got my heat up and running, but told me the furnace was in rough shape and would likely need to be replaced soon. Not exactly what I wanted to hear since I had just bought the house in November! But they told me I was safe to wait and that I could try to limp along until spring.Fast-forward about 6 weeks, I bit the bullet and decided to have the furnace replaced and install central A/C. They arrived, quickly got to work, and they had all of it done same day!The owner, Ross, is extremely personable, has been super great about it explaining how things work and costs and things when he’s been at my house, and Aiden is wonderful as well- clearly knows his stuff! It’s been really great working with these guys!
We woke up at 9am with no heat on Jan 13th. I called a well known local service company, they took my info and said I would get a call back. I called another local service and they said they wouldn't get someone out to look at the furnace till after hours. I then Googled and found Genesee Heating and A/C. Called them, they had a service tech (Aiden) out in an hour. He gave us an estimate to fix our furnace and for a new furnace. We decided to go with a new furnace due to the age of ours. They had Brady, a tech come out within the hour and start taking out the old unit. Another tech, Ian came with new furnace. The owner, Ross came later to help finish the job. The install was finished by 5pm. Great job all around. Techs were polite, well mannered and professional. Would highly recommend this company. Oh, by the way, I got a call back from the first company I called around the same time that Genesee was already taking out my furnace. A little late. So if you need promt, excellent service and a reasonable price call Genesee Heating and AC.
Aiden was on time, let me know with a text that he was on his way & did an excellent job on the tune-up of my furnace. He was friendly, very knowledgeable when I asked questions & informative on what he found & the condition of my furnace. It should last another 8 yrs at least for being a 12yr old furnace. The company was quick to get me an appointment unlike many other HVAC co's I called for a tune-up. ALL others couldn't give me an appt. until Jan. or later in February. With Genesee, I called last Friday & got an appt. today, Wed. 4 business days later. I was very impressed with how they handled their business from start phone call with Jana who was very friendly to the finished job. ??
They were on time ,They did an excellent job! Had a air conditioner and new furnace put in. They had it done in 8 hours. The two young men that came here worked until the job was done. And went through everything with us. And showed us what they did. Couldn't be happier. Good to see two young men in the trade. Need more of that. You won't be disappointed with this company. Would highly recommend using them. It was a pleasure working with them.
