We had our furnace and air conditioner installed four years ago by a local contractor. He was readily available until the equipment was installed, the it was hard to contact them when we had some issues.
Then @FenceMarshall recommended Niko at NM Heating and Cooling. After he came and fixed our air conditioner after someone installed a part incorrectly, then told us the unit was broken and would cost over $5000, he figured out in minutes it was only a crossed wire, and he wouldn't even charge us !! (I sent him a fairly substantial tip anyway.)
Well, now it is time for heating the house, but it was only blowing cold air.
A quick call back to NM Heating & Air Conditioning and arriving within a couple days (I HAD CALLED ON THE WEEKEND) they were able to diagnose the issue and again only charged a minimum hourly charge. During his visit he also noticed a few nicked wires, replaced them and also cleaned air conditioning coils to eliminate another call come next summer. Niko was professional, explained what was done and the family is nice and cozy and warm again!!!

I am so grateful for having been hooked up with Niko at NM heating & Air Conditioning.
My 4 yr old air conditioner stopped pushing cool air. I had a guy I have dealt with before come over and replaced the capacitor. Well that didn’t work and I was told I would need a new unit. A new replacement of equal or greater value to replace it was going to cost between $4000-$7000 so I was told by two different companies quoting me.
But, before giving the go to get a new one, my contractor who remodelled my home told me that I should first talk to his guy Niko from NM Heating & Air Conditioning as my 4 yr old unit can’t be toast.
Well I call these guys and the next day they come over and this time the first company that actually brought a pressure testing device with them! Within 5 min they were able to tell me that the company that replaced the capacitor crossed some wires and he simply switched the blue and brown wires in the capacitor and bam! We were back in business with full blasting cold air.

I fully understand why these guys have nothing but 5 stars. Fast, knowledgeable, friendly, informative… I am so appreciative that these guys saved me thousands of dollars that was not needed to be spent on a new unit when this one is in perfect shape.

Again I just want to thank these guys for taking care of us and being honest and fair. Quite refreshing in a world where there is so much dishonesty and greed, taking advantage of customers.
