I got 5 very thorough bids to replace my AC and furnace as my attempt at due diligence. I would have gladly hired any of them as I was confident of their respective knowledge base and honesty. In the end I selected Jonny Taylor, owner of Florida Coast AC for a couple of reasons. Jonny has an outstanding reputation as evidenced by his google reviews and I had a close friend to has been well satisfied with his work. My friend also said that a close friend of hers uses Jonny exclusively in his home inspection business and this gentleman raves about Florida Coast AC. That closer personal connection helped me make the decision. Johnny’s bid was not the lowest that I received, but I felt that his bid was fair and reasonable considering the units that he plan to install. On the day of installation, Johnny arrived about 9:00 AM and he and his Two diligent coworkers were finished before 4:00 PM. My AC now works perfectly even during these brutal, hot and humid afternoons. I couldn’t be more pleased with the outcome.
JT came out to our house and found the problem immediately. I had three other companies before him, was told replace this, replace that. So thankful that a friend referred me to Johnny, don’t use anyone else but Johnny.
Fast, knowledgeable, and professional. They were able to come out the next day when I noticed my A/C was not cooling. They quickly found and fixed the problem for a very fair price.I will definitely recommend Florida Coast Air Conditioning in the future and be sure to call them the next time our A/C needs service.
This company is fantastic! The tech is honest straight forward and great to work with. The price was the best as well. We did comparisons and His beat out everyone and he did a fantastic job explaining everything. He was quick to install as well, didn't have to wait and it only took him the day to install. Even when I forgot 5 months later one of his instructions he came out that day and showed me what happened. He was the best! Professional and very personable nice guy! I would recommend him for any future a/c work and will definitely keep him in my contacts and refer him to my friends and family.
Very poor customer service. Hired the company to install two new units on a construction house. The duct work was pourly installed, causing air flow issues. They did not test the units prior to leaving and neither unit had working emergency heat. Both units needed the dip switches set correctly. They over charged the downstairs unit by 14 pounds causing the unit's heat pump not to work. The plenum they made for the downstairs unit is leaking cooled air into the uninsulated garage. The owner refused to correct his work even though it had only been 30 days since the install was completed. I highly recommend you find another company. This company will cost you more money in hiring other companies to fix their shotty work.
