I contacted Old School Heating & Cooling LLC during a heating emergency to inquire about service, only to be told that they do not service the City of Wilmington, DE. No explanation was provided.The person I spoke with was polite, which I appreciate, but unfortunately that alone doesn’t make up for the experience. As a business operating out of New Castle County, it’s frustrating and frankly confusing that service is limited to certain areas of the county, especially one as central as Wilmington.If there are geographic limitations, that information should be clearly stated on the company’s website so customers aren’t wasting time calling during emergencies. Finding this out only after reaching out was disappointing and unnecessary.Overall, the lack of transparency made this a frustrating experience, particularly given the urgency of the situation.
Old School is the best HVAC company I have ever used and I have been a homeowner for 34 years! They are responsive and very honest. Their pricing is beyond reasonable. All qualities that are often difficult to find in the world we live in today. If you are on the fence, give them a call… You will not regret it!

I recently had Old School Heating and Cooling install a new heater and AC system in my home, and I can’t say enough good things about the experience. Jason and Bill did an incredible job—not only with the installation, but with the extra work they took on without hesitation. They ran all the new gas piping throughout the house, handled every detail with care, and made sure everything was done the right way.On top of that, a step in my basement broke during the process, and they immediately fixed it without me even having to ask. It was a small thing, but it really showed how much pride they take in their work. They also went above and beyond by giving me five air filters as a courtesy for the delays caused by Delmarva’s approval process—something that wasn’t their fault at all.Jason and Bill were professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely great people to work with. It’s rare to find a company that treats your home like their own, but that’s exactly what they did. I highly recommend Old School Heating & Cooling to anyone looking for honest, high-quality, and reliable service.
Jason was such a great help for me. I came back from a trip out of town and unexpectedly had an issue with my heating. I called first thing on Sunday, and Jason was out within the hour. He checked in on each and every detail of my heating system before determining the issue, which was twofold. He talked me through setting up my new thermostat system and even stayed after for another ten minutes or so to make sure that everything was working appropriately. Thank you for putting my mind at ease!
