Francisco Alonso and his teammate did a wonderful job with our front yard drainage solution. He was very friendly, communicative, and dedicated to doing the job well. You'd never know the grass and walkway were disturbed!
Our landscape border edging is absolutely beautiful. Mason, Mike and Jorge were perfectionists and did an outstanding job. This was my first experience with Great Outdoors. First we met with Rebecca who came to our house to go over what work we needed done. She was very knowledgeable and professional. Today we had the first visit from Horticulture team #1 (Savanah, Katie, and Sarah) who did the fall clean up. The crew leader was very patient with us as we asked her lots of questions and she was very knowledgeable about hydrangeas - we have several varieties and she knew which ones needed to be cut back (and explained why) vs. which ones just needed to be deadheaded. I appreciate that they know what they’re doing. They did an excellent job and cleaned up everything before leaving. I look forward to having them do our leaf removal and spring preparations next year.
Really disappointed in the work and the refusal to even return my call.Paid more than $7k for a drain and rain garden and regrade of back yard. They didn't bring in any top spoil just spread the sub clay they dug out from the rain garden all around the yard. They didn't even put soil over the fabric covering the drian tile. I'm not sure how they expect the grass seed they put down to grown on the fabric. The drain is actually above the grade of yard in spots. Not sure how I'm supposed to mow that?They also took bushes and plants that per the contract were supposed to be replanted. I called and said I would even come to pick up the irises, delphiniums and hydrangeas plants. The receptionist said they had them but never returned my call or let me know how I'm supposed to get them and it's been more than a week now.It's going to cost me another 2k more to pay another company to bring in top soil to have the drain tilve covered and yard regraded. Very disappointing and sloppy work and poor customer serivce (none becuase they wouldn't even return my call to ask my what the problem was) for the amount of money I paid.
June 24, 2025Thanks so much to Oscar H and Oscar S for their incredible hard work cleaning all of my flower and hedge beds, power washing the brussel block, installing mulch, trimming my shrubs, and hard edging my fire pit and garden bed. They worked through tremendous heat and rain for two days! My property looks wonderful now just in time for a party!August 28, 2024Where do I begin? Great Outdoors has come through for me for over 20 years at multiple properties! First, a huge thank you to Peyton and Angel for mowing and trimming my lawn and making it look beautiful before my son's graduation party! They were asked on short notice to assist me and came through brilliantly.More recently, I had the pleasure of working with Avery in sales who designed a new natural blue stone fire pit for my backyard! He is very professional, listened to my ideas along with taking into account the present landscaping, and offering his creative opinion. A shout out to the fantastic crew: Cesar, Alonso, Roberto, Bryan, and Jorge. They worked hard, were respectful, friendly, maintained the work area, and made my dream come true! I look forward to collaborating on future hardscape, landscaping, and lawn projects with Great Outdoors.
