This review is long coming. My family had been looking for a landscaping company to transform our dismal , sloping backyard into one that we could enjoy for many years to come! We decided on Land-con Luxury Landscapes and we're so glad we did! The process did have a few speed bumps between early designer challenges, city permit delays but we are above and beyond happy with the end product. Leveling the yard, privacy trees, new shed, Ipe deck, 18' swim spa and covered grilling station with beautiful skylights. Jeremy, Ofer, John and their team did an outstanding job- coffee on my deck just tastes better

Wow! That's typically what everyone says the first time they see our new backyard and it's all thanks to Landcon. Jeremy, Ofer, and their team were a great pleasure to work with and we gladly recommend them to anyone who's interested in doing any major renovation for their home's exterior. They're a one-step shop meaning they can take care of everything (including permits) and use their crews as needed to get the job done. Our project consisted of a complete demolition of the backyard and structures, new pool, new hardscaping, electrical, plumbing, gas, and some carpentry. So not a small project by any means.

We found Landcon after seeing some of their social media posts on Instagram and from a work colleague that had used them years before. After an initial consult, they were able to take a vision of what we thought our backyard could look like and then enhance it with their creative designs. This process takes a while but it works well and you get to visually see what your renovation can end up looking like. Once you've signed off, they will present to you a quote for you to review. One great aspect of how the company is run is how they present their statement of work to you (the quote). Everything is itemized right down to the littlest thing. This ended up helping us out as our project grew a little too big for our budget and they were able to help us reduce some costs while still keeping the overall vision. A lot of other companies may not spend the time with you to get you to a workable budget but Landcon were always willing to help us out after much back and forth. We liked how they use an online system for payments and for any change orders that can come up which were outside of the original contract. Oh and seeing your home's progress posted on social media is pretty cool.

As for the work? We were very fortunate that permits and weather all lined up well so that our project started way ahead of schedule which meant that we'd be able to have our work finished just in time for the warm, summer weather. The crews that came and went were efficient, on time, and professional. I have to say that I was blown away by how meticulous the main crew was when preparing the area and laying down the hardscaping. The work schedule runs like a well oiled machine and we practically had workers every day until the majority of the work was done. Everyone was friendly and each one of them cleaned up after their day ended. Our neighbours actually commented on how professional and courteous they were when they'd see them out on the road sweeping at the end of the day. A big shout out to John and his crew and if you can, try and request him as they do an amazing job. Another shout to to Phil the electrician and his guys who did an outstanding job as well. As other reviews have mentioned and with a job of this size, there's bound to be some issues that come up whether they're minor or major. John or Jeremy were always ready to listen and help to resolve them. Even when we had a bigger issue towards the end, Landcon was able to work with their partners and come to a satisfying solution for us. This is where a company like Landcon differentiates themselves from others. Most other companies could have left us out to hang or to "just deal with it" but they came through for us and made us very happy.

It's hard to believe that it's been a full year since we reached out to them for a quote but the work is now complete and we're very satisfied with how it turned out. Thank you Landcon for giving us the backyard oasis we've always wanted and we hope to build many new memories for years to come with it. We look forward to reaching out to you again for our next project.

This review is a long time coming. In summer 2020 we started to explore pool companies. We were impressed with the Landcon website and reviews. What tilted the decision in their favour was Ofer. He was personable and knowledgeable. Overall they were very good to deal with. The various trades were excellent (special mention to John - plumber and Phil - electrician). Were there issues along the way? It’s inevitable when you are in the middle of a pandemic, but Ofer with his experience and calm personality dealt with them as they came up. I cannot say enough good things about Land-Con and their amazing team of professionals. They did a complete backyard reno for us, from scratch, including pool and patio installation, garden landscaping and erection of a privacy fence and pergola. At every step of the process, from estimates and quotes, through project design & material procurement to final installation and project completion, the service was exceptional. Jeremy was thorough and informative as we worked through the initial project scope. He listened to what we wanted and provided his honest opinion on options and alternatives. Absolutely loved working with him. Once we got through designs, Simon took over project management, and was honestly, one of the best contractors I’ve ever had the opportunity to work with. He managed through a particularly challenging time, mid-pandemic, problem-solving and providing timely updates, helping to keep the projects within budget and on time. We were working with an Apr 2021 start date and a 6-week delivery. We broke ground for the pool on Apr 28 and opened the pool on Jun 25, a miraculous accomplishment, considering everything we were facing with material availability and product shortages. And even though there were still a couple outstanding things to be completed, the after-service from Simon was spectacular. And the Land-Con crew - Chris, Zach, Brandon - and their sub-contractors Diego, Phil, John, Brian, TimberKits etc - were all amazing to work with, every singe one of them, super-professional with high quality work. We had 2-3 other companies we were considering at the time, and I am so happy we decided to go with Land-Con. Their service is 5-star - and yes, that doesn’t come cheaply - but every dollar you spend is absolutely worth it! We love our backyard and have already recommended Land-Con to 3 other friends who have asked. If you want exquisite, reliable, knowledgeable, high quality service, choose Land-Con.

This summer, we decided to embark on an ambitious home landscaping project involving rebuilding large retaining walls and stairs and installing two patios and gardens. We reached out to numerous companies but following our initial meeting with Landcon, we knew we found our company. The process began with the creation of a comprehensive landscape design (structural and planting) from Kin, the designer, who provided us with ongoing support and helpful hints when choosing products. Once the actual construction began, the hardworking and pleasant teams arrived and worked 12 hours a day to meet our timelines. Our property and streetscape was left spotlessly clean each evening, and they went out of their way to ensure minimal disruption to the neighbourhood. Ofer, the co-owner of Landcon, oversaw our project. He was patient, flexible, honest, reliable, and always a quick phone call away. He came onsite every day to meet with us and the crew, discuss progress and coordinate the different trades involved. Ofer was a pleasure to deal with. As the work progressed, we quickly realized the importance of timing of each step of the process and we recognized how fortunate we were. Cement trucks, bins and required machinery arrived exactly on time and as needed, preventing idling and project delays. The quality of Landcon’s work was impeccable. The project was completed on time and within budget. There were no hidden cost “surprises”. Every step of the project was broken down and clearly stated in the contract, very transparent, which we appreciated. We were left with the feeling that Landcon’s goal is to make clients happy and ensure you end up with a completed project you will love long term. That is exactly how our family feels. We are so happy with the end product, which significantly improved the street appeal and functionality of our home’s property. We have no hesitation in recommending Landcon for any landscaping project. Unfortunately I forgot to take pictures of the completed project (with asphalt driveway and fencing/gate/railings) before the snow came, so I'm sharing a mix of photos prior to and following completion.
