Absolutely great experience with John and Deep South Hydroseeding. I searched for weeks before pulling the trigger on doing the job at our family’s property. He came quickly, provided a fair quote, and got on the job done ASAP. He was punctual, hard working, and beat all competitors on pricing, hand down.

John is just a flat out nice guy that supports veterans and the community. Please consider using a local business.

Thanks again,

Kevin

Tyler Sloan on Deep South Hydroseeding

The end of our yard had an erosion issue that continued to be an ugly patch and muddy mess after each rainfall. We tried and tried to get grass to grow on our own but have yet to make it stick. Finally gave up and called deep HydroSeeding. It rained 2 days after they sprayed the seed, but it still held a left us with a complete backyard, no longer struggling with a muddy, eroding hill. Wish I would have honestly called them out before I spent the money and effort on my own. Highly recommend.

Chris Swedburg on Deep South Hydroseeding

I had the pleasure of working with Deep South for a recent landscaping project at my house, and I couldn't be more impressed with their hydroseeding service. From start to finish, the team was professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly efficient. They took the time to explain the process and answered all my questions, making sure I felt comfortable throughout the entire project.

The results were outstanding! The hydroseeding was applied evenly and quickly, and within just a few weeks I saw healthy grass growing in areas that had previously struggled to grow anything. It's clear that they use high-quality materials, and their expertise in the field really shows.

Colton was great throughout the process, very good group of guys. Will recommend them when I can!

Frequently Asked Questions

Most lawns begin to show germination within 7–14 days, depending on temperature, moisture, and seed type. Full coverage and establishment typically take several weeks with proper watering and care.

Hydroseeding with the right mulch and tackifier can help stabilize soil and resist rain impact during establishment. On steeper or high-flow areas, additional erosion control measures may be recommended.

Good results start with a clean seedbed: remove debris, rough grade, and ensure good soil contact. Light soil amendments or final raking may be suggested before application.

Plan for light, frequent watering to keep the mulch moist without pooling, then taper to deeper, less frequent cycles as roots develop. The team can provide a simple schedule based on season and site conditions.

Yes, targeted hydroseeding or overseeding can thicken thin turf and fill bare areas. Proper prep and consistent watering are key to helping new growth blend with existing grass.
