Updated: Dowco ended coming immediately to fix the exposed wiring and moved up our service date to put the mulch in, which I very much appreciated the prompt attention. Updating the review to 4 stars.We've been customers for several years and have noticed a decline in service. We previously had used Dowco for everything from mowing, bed maintenance, fertilization, etc. Their customer portal isn't great. It cuts off ticket text and is clunky. We experience now delays in services that should be coupled together ... example being edging for replacement mulch and not showing up with new mulch for more than 2 weeks. They also quite frequently damage things despite my husband reminding them where they are likely to run into those issues. Recently they cut through our irrigation wires, fixed them, and then left all the wires exposed. I think this company has scaled too large to provide adequate customer service and consistent quality. We will likely replace them.Update: I had also placed support tickets, and they confirmed they have no flexibility to do the mulching any sooner due to production delays and they will fix the exposed wires in 10 days when they do the mulch. So no, there was no attempt to "make this right" but rather an explanation of the delay and leaving wires exposed until it's convenient for them to fix them.
We have had Dowco providing our fertilization program, bed cleanups and mulching as well as fall lawn renovations for the past several years. We have always found their crews to be friendly and efficient. On a few occasions when they have arrived for services at an inconvenient time (e.g., while I was mowing), they immediately offered to reschedule the service for a more convenient time. We regularly receive compliments from neighbors on how nice our lawn looks. I trust Dowco to promptly address any issues that we bring to their attention.
Dowco is the best! They take care of everything from the lawn to tree trimming and garden beds.I have been using their services for over 20 years without a single problem. I am always getting compliments from my neighbors on how nice the property looks. I wish they offered a housecleaning service so that the insides could look as good as the outside. ??Highly recommended!
