We had Poynter replace a large hedge for us. Margaret, Neil, and Orlando worked together to come up with a plan and executed it perfectly. It was a large job but they completed it in 2 days and it is perfect. Several neighbors even commented on their work ethic and how great it looks. We have an ongoing maintenance agreement and every time they come, the yard looks fantastic. We highly recommend them.

Heather provided a detailed plan which incorporated our ideas and concerns. The installation of the wall went flawlessly with ongoing communication and supervision by Neil and Carlos. I was amazed at everyone’s attention to detail and professionalism. I rarely write public reviews, but make a well-deserved exception for the folks at Poynter Landscape Architecture & Construction. We wanted one-stop shopping for a project including design and build for a deck, hardscape patio and walls, a water feature and all the landscaping surrounding those outdoor spaces. I could not be more pleased with the results, especially now as I enjoy seeing the newly emerging plants this spring.
My father would say "you get what you pay for", and while Poynter may not be the least expensive bid you will get, I think the end result is well worth it. The process was clearly laid out for us from design all the way through building and cleanup. Bob listened carefully to our wishes and came back with design options that we workshopped together to finalize a cohesive plan. Poynter took care of all the permit process and finally the crew arrived! Hats off to BJ, Carlos, Darrell and Michelle who teamed up to translate the plan into reality. Their crews were hard working, polite and responsive to any of our requests. The site was clean and safe every day before leaving. Poynter took extra care to call in a tree specialist to minimize impacts to our beautiful Japanese maple tree, now a focal point of the new patio. We always knew the schedule and could rely that things would happen when expected. And if not, we knew why without asking.
When we sit on our patio and hear the restful sound of falling water, I am truly in my happy place. Without hesitation, we recommend Poynter to you.
