Having been an engineer and business owner for over 50 years, I have dealt with many smart and talented contractors, agents and technicians, (some not so much). Therefore, I am not easily impressed, but I have been with Vandenberg landscapes for the past 20 years. Matt Vandenberg is like myself, and old school father and son business that does business the old-fashioned way. They installed a large flagstone walk and garden for me many years ago and have maintained it since and his people have always been excellent and the price has always been fair. Vandenberg designed and re-landscaped my small front yard. Trent, the designer, listened carefully to my desires for the design and produced an excellent set of plans. The installation crew was extremely professional. Throughout the project I interacted with extremely polite, prompt, and professional personnel. The crew worked very hard to complete the job in 2 days. There were none of the usual coffee and smoke breaks or endless standing around talking on cell phones that I often encounter. The Pit Stop was removed promptly first thing on the day following completion. The end product fully meets my expectations.
