El Plantio Nursery & Landscaping

If you are looking for a nursery in Escondido near the Safari Park, you have to stop by El Plantio! The staff here are incredibly sweet and helpful. You can tell the entire place is kept with so much love—there are so many different sections to explore, from beautiful pottery to a massive variety of trees and shrubs. The highlight of our visit was the checkout; they gifted my daughter and me strawberry plants to plant together at home. It was such a thoughtful gesture that turned a shopping trip into a core memory. Highly recommend for anyone looking for quality plants and amazing customer service!

stopped by El Plantio Nursery to pick up some potting soil for my mom, and once again I was reminded why this place has such a great reputation. The selection is fantastic, everything is organized, and you can tell they truly care about plants and the people who come in for them. What really stood out to me was the customer service. The young man at the till was friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful. After I checked out, he didn’t hesitate to come around and help load the soil into my car. That kind of service is rare these days, and it absolutely makes a difference. It wasn’t just a quick in-and-out purchase — it felt like they actually appreciated my business. Great products, great atmosphere, and outstanding staff. I’ll definitely be back, and I highly recommend El Plantio Nursery to anyone looking for quality plants and supplies with top-notch service.

A great selection with a feature I really like, which is guidance about size, soil and sun requirements for each of the plants. It made our job a thousand times easier, knowing what would work in our dry landscape. We had questions about an unusual tree and we were given a great amount of info and we were very impressed.

Fantastic staff, they'll help you find what you need even if you don't know what you want. I went there right before quarentine and the associate gladly helped me picking out a few roses. Now as for the roses themselves, they are absolutely beautiful! They bloomed 1st season they were planted and look/smell amazing! If you're looking for some color or something a little different, definitely check them out! You will not be disappointed ????
