Landscape design and installation, plant beds and mulch, paver and stone borders, drainage and French drains, irrigation installation and checks, lawn mowing and seasonal cleanups.
Customer feedback is mixed. Positive reviews often note strong design input, attention to detail on hard edging and bed work, and crews that work steadily until completion. Critical reviews cite communication gaps after projects, unresolved concerns on drainage or irrigation performance, and questions around plant survival and follow-up. Prospective customers frequently mention the value of clear expectations on scope, watering, and maintenance.
Terrible company to do business with. After spending several thousand dollars on a new French drain system, the system wasn't put in correctly. I tried to contact the company multiple times through emails and phone calls to the business and owner for months after the install and never a single reply back. The yard is worse than it was before they put the drain in and we now have flooding issues inside. Waste of money and completely frustrated with the lack of care for customer service. I highly recommend to stay away and find a business that cares.
Sean worked with us on our front landscaping project at the beginning of the Summer. We absolutely love how it turned out. Sean’s attention to detail and skill in turning your vision into a reality is excellent. Highly recommend. They employ some very hard workers. We so appreciate their incredible effort in transforming the face of our home. Will definitely use them again for any future projects.
A Clean Cut installed my irrigation system in the spring of 2020. Over the next two years, everything in my front flower beds slowly started to die, including 8 evergreen trees that are taller than my two story house. I had both a landscaper and an arborist come out to try and determine the issue, and they both thought it was due to the plants and trees not getting enough water. I called A Clean Cut and they sent someone out to check the irrigation system, at which time the lead irrigation specialist told me that it had not been installed correctly and asked me who had installed it ?? I worked with the owner of the company and we agreed that I would pay for the materials needed to fix it and he would waive the labor, with the the understanding that if we could not save the trees he would be responsible for removing - this was in the summer of 2022. Flash forward to this spring and all 8 of the evergreen trees are dying or dead. I called to let them know that the trees were not going to make it and the woman who answered said the owner was going to come by and take a look. This was about a month ago and I have been calling 1-2 times a week since then with no one answering or returning my calls. I will be moving my irrigation service to another company and would definitely not recommend working with this company.UPDATE: All eight of my azaleas, two butterfly bushes and four lavender plants have died as well. The new irrigation company I have hired has said that there is still not adequate water coverage in my flower beds and it is going to have to be fixed AGAIN. I have received no return calls or any communication from A Clean Cut.
Plants all died over the winter, I questioned them in November whether we should wait until Spring, they said it was fine. After 3 attempts at contact I got this response when I asked if they guaranteed their plantings..We do not! There are far too many factors when it comes to the care of those Plants that we are not able to verify were done and/or done correctly. So there is no way for us to know if it is due to Lack of Care, not Watering, Watering too often, Supplier, Winter Weather, Etc.Thank you,Melissa KerleyOperations ManagerA Clean Cut Lawn Care
A Clean Cut just finished a major landscaping job for us, and here are the results. They used paver stones to line our gardens and circle our trees, digging out the trench around, filling with crushed gravel, then placing and cementing the pavers in place. They then added more mulch and cleaned everything up at the end. The job took several days to accomplish, which I was told it would, and the results are fantastic. We also use this company for our regular lawn maintenance (mowing, fertilization, weed control). They show up on time and are very prompt and courteous.I have enjoyed my interactions with Jeff Watkins, the owner. He is very polite and knowledgeable of his business. He keeps me informed when jobs will be done.I would recommend A Clean Cut for any landscaping or lawn job you have. We will definitely continue to use them!
