If I could give CTX Mowing more than 5 stars I would! I have used CTX Mowing for several years for bi-weekly mowing. I get a text reminder the day before, a text upon completion, and an electronic invoice with photos provided of the lawn service. The communication is on point! Also, the reliability of their services is so appreciated! I know they will be there every time they say they will. CTX has also completed several landscaping projects for us as well. The prices have been very fair and the final results have been exceptional. Last week they provided a junk haul off services for me as well. I am so thankful for CTX Mowing and I absolutely without a doubt recommend them for your lawn and landscaping projects!! THANK YOU!
This company provided great work during the time I worked with them. My complaint comes after I cancelled my service. On 28 September I notified the company that I wanted to "cancel all services" with them because I no longer needed it. They acknowledged my cancellation, thanked me for letting them know and told me to call if I needed them. My issue came a month later on 28 October when I heard my dog barking in the backyard and when I let him in one of their employees was actively seeding my backyard. I promptly contacted the company and referred them to my cancellation of "all services" on 28 September. In all fairness, I did miss a text message from them on 26 October and another on 27 October referring to the 28 October service because they blended in with the many other spam messages I get on a daily basis. I did not consider that one of them would be a message that would cost me $650 since I had cancelled their services and they acknowledged it.When going back and forth with their representative, I was told that they would still be charging me $325 since they had completed half of the over-seeding on my yard. The representative pointed to the contract that states "Over-Seeding Lawn yearly or twice yearly (Spring & Fall)".My lawn was already over-seeded earlier this year. So when I cancelled "all services" on 28 September, I had met the yearly requirement per the contract. The representative refused to acknowledge that the contract clearly states yearly or twice yearly and repeatedly told me I agreed to seeding twice yearly (photo provided by the representative included).I told the representative that I would not be paying their invoice as I had met the contract requirements and they acknowledged my cancellation of all their services on 28 September. I was told:"That’s fine if you wanna leave it unpaid, I have no problem handing it over to our business attorney. This is why we have contracts and we document all text messages sent out. He also might want to review our customer information policy that we sent when you first signed up. It also covers what is billed once we start a service. Maybe if you could’ve responded in a timely manner when you receive text messages on Monday and Sunday, we will be having this conversation other than that we are done responding to you. You’re welcome to pay your invoice. You’re welcome to not pay your invoice if you choose to and we will see you in court and trust me. It gets a lot more expensive before we go into court. You’re not the first customer who is trying to cancel service as it’s being performed thinking they don’t have to pay it." (screenshot provided)As you can see from the photos provided: I clearly wanted to cancel all services with them and they acknowledged it. The picture of the contract they sent to me clearly states "yearly or twice yearly" but the representative refused to acknowledge that yearly was an option. When I said I did not want to pay for the service I cancelled and continued to have a back and forth conversation, I was accused of harassing them, threatened with legal action that they "have many times used in the past with Customers so try not to pay the bill", and was basically accused of trying to scam them by canceling the service while it's being performed and not wanting to pay.I will end up paying the invoice because my time and effort is worth more than the $325 they apparently need really bad. However, I feel it is important to leave this review and potentially prevent others from dealing with the same issues.
Great work on completion of our new trees and flower bed edging. But the customer service with the initial quote is what sold us. Got quotes from other places and just didnt have any suggestions or alternative ideas to save money or re use materials. But CTX mowing were alot more engaging amd suggested other options for better quality and money saving. Very much appreciated
Had BJ come out and give an estimate on a patio and trash can pad and I am so happy with the outcome! BJ listened to what I was looking for and even thought of ways to make it better (sidewalk to the patio from backdoor) and worked within our budget. I had other estimates done but I loved that CTX would do everything, including moving the irrigation lines. Other companies said I would need to get the other steps done separately, then bring them in only for the concrete. Once I paid my deposit he was quick to get working on it, and when the weather and the work messed up the yard giving me a mud pit, he fixed that too. I'm planning on adding a cover and will be reaching out to CTX next year when it's time to do it. This patio wasn't easy at 31x10 feet, but they did an excellent job! Easy to communicate with, prompt, and knowledgeable. Thank you guys!!
BJ and the team over at CTX Mowing are incredible! They took a site plan design that I had come up with for our backyard and executed it perfectly. They went above and beyond on the detail and execution. We are beyond thrilled that we chose CTX Mowing for our project and are looking forward to future upgrades to our front yard!
