Outdoor Concepts did a GREAT makeover of my landscape front and back. Kash understood what I was looking for, asked questions, came out to the site on the first day to be sure we were in sync on the plans and contacted me when all was complete.. BEFORE final payment. I would recommend this company to anyone wanting good quality work and great customer service... thank you Kash!
Outdoor Concepts Design and Landscaping was one of three landscape design teams that we initially met with. Kash was attentive, responded in a really timely manner, easy to schedule with, and most importantly, truly paid attention to what I was describing and the ideas I envisioned. He was able to give guidance and clarity for things that made sense for our space and things that did not. Compared to other landscape design estimates, it was very reasonable. The work was done efficiently, with a terrific job of cleanup. There were a couple of items we decided to put on hold, but I would definitely use their services again if we decide to go ahead with remaining ideas.
This is the second time we’ve used Outdoor Concepts Design and Landscaping. They transformed our backyard with creative, detailed landscaping design. Their professionalism and clear communication made the whole process easy, and they were always on time and reliable. We love the result and would definitely use them again.
I want to provide an honest review of our experience with Outdoor Concepts and rationale of why a 4.5-star final product receives 4 stars in our book.Overall, the final product looks great and mostly meets our expectations. In fact, from the ground - it looks 5-star. The sub-contracting crew got a little sloppy and dented up some of the paneling on the roof, which cannot be seen. They "fixed" it by hammering it out (more on this later). For those who use this company, I recommend inspecting the roof via drone or ladder. I feel, but cannot know this, that had we not pointed this out, it would have been left, as it was. Overall, they did a very good job installing our patio. It just took more guidance on our end than we wanted to provide.Regarding contractors and subcontractors, this was a small job, we were concerned that we would get 3-star service. We were correct (honestly some of the sub-contractors were 1-star, but the owner's crews were mostly 5-star). We were very clear about coordinating work with our schedules. This did not happen in the first two major phases of the install. The first drop-off came while I was out of town and my wife was busy running a webinar. We reminded the owner how important coordinating with our schedules was, and the same thing happened a week later. At this time, we also pointed out how bad the dented part of the roof panel looked. The 1-star crew came again right before the huge micro-burst we had in early October 2025, and were only concerned about hastily finishing the job, when they should have paused work. The biggest issue and cause for the 1-star rating of the subcontracting roofing crew was how dismissive they were with my wife. They claimed that the dented up panel on the roof was normal - always happened.Toward the end, when we were working with the owner's crews, we received excellent (5-star) service and extremely attentive workers. I feel like the owner corrected this, and I'm appreciative of it.Updating the review here. Originally our ceiling fan instructions were accidentally taken away. The crew returned the instructions today. This is a bigger deal than it sounds like as the instructions and QR codes for smart app integration were included. I've successfully integrated the fan with our smart apps. I very much appreciate this and updated the review to 4 stars.I feel like if you do a big enough job, you will get better service and a better overall end product. The final product is 4.5 stars - they could have replaced the roof panel but chose to "repair". You be the judge (images are uploaded - before and after). The good is the work gets done and they try to get things right. The not as good, is that you may not be able to control some of the subcontracting crews or truly hold them accountable for their work.As noted, I updated this review just now.
