Arin and his team were a dream to work with for our front and backyard renovations. Arin was reliable, responded to us quickly, and offered great ideas as the project progressed. When we needed additional work, he had contacts that gave us very competitive pricing and professional work. He even came back and replaced a few plants that didn't originally thrive. I don't usually add a review, but this time i felt wrong that i dont add a review for BuildCal. My husband and i have been looking for a hardscape contractor in Glendale CA to build our driveway using pavers, we have done our research and contacted multiple companies in Glendale, we finally made our mind to work with Buildcal Landscaping. It was the best choice we made, Arin and his team were on time everyday on the project, worked without annoying or interrupting any of the neighbors, the driveway the build is so awesome, it changed how our house looks completely. Arin and his team are fantastic. I met with lots of contractors, but decided to go with Buildcal to redo our front yard which was a pretty big project - hardscape, landscape, new grass, irrigation system, and lighting. I'm extremely happy with my decision. Arin is an honest and caring person, which feels impossible to come across when it comes to construction. Being young homeowners ourselves, we've had many bad experiences with contractors and it was hard to go into this process with trust, but Arin really changed that for us. Him and his team are professional, hard working, and really care about the quality work they deliver. There were things that I wouldn't notice, but Arin would go out of his way to fix. We were searching for a company to remodel our front steps and were referred to BuildCal from our awesome handyman (Vic The Handyman). Since Vic always does such a great job with his work, we figured his landscaping referral could be trusted too. Just as we anticipated, Arin and his crew killed it! He took our steps and porch to a whole new level. It was amazing to see the transformation and end result of their work. Arin definitely picked the right crew members for his business. They were competent, professional, and diligent in their work. Arin himself is very knowledgeable, professional, as well as courteous with his advice to save money whenever and wherever possible. Above and beyond to say the least! There was a mistake on one part of the job, and he took it upon himself to assure us the job would be completely per our expectations, and we are very happy with the end results. The guy is super busy with multiple jobs, but still finds time to call, text, email during the process to make sure we’re satisfied with their work. On multiple occasions our neighbors would stop by, give compliments, and ask who did our steps! I must’ve referred 3 of our neighbors, and 2 of my family members. We've just hired them again to remodel the stairs and porch on the side of our house, as well as the stucco/paint for the house. We'll also be hiring to landscape our backyard and cement the patio as well. We're definitely confident Arin and his team will do a fantastic job. Thank you Vic The Handyman for introducing us!
