Reviews

What customers say

Customers praise the staff's helpfulness and knowledge, and one calls the plant selection comprehensive. The less positive feedback is specific: a landscaping customer reports unanswered calls before learning the company could not take on the project that year, while a separate rock order involved a month-long wait and a disagreement about unloading it in the road rather than the garden.

Older tall gentleman helped me and wasn’t very kind. I was asking for lilacs for my garden and he was very rude and acted as if I had no idea what I was talking about. I wanted the regular purple lilacs, and he got a bit angry when I specified the word “purple”. Not sure why it peeved him so, but I he rubbed me the wrong way. I decided not to buy and when I said that, the gentleman got angry with me and told me I wouldn’t find better anywhere else.

Horrible customer service!!! Ryan came out and looked at our yard in March this year and talked to my wife and I. He told us that he would be in touch in several weeks with a plan and pricing etc. Said they would be starting in July. NEVER heard back from him, called in four times and left messages. No returned phone calls. Just today Aug, 21 he texted me stating "Unfortunately we will not be able to get to your project this year." Don't waste your time if are trying to give them business. I used them in 2000 for our yard and was very happy with everything. Won't ever bother them again.

From ordering rock, to delivery, to making a payment, this company was a nightmare to deal with. Went in with measurements of the area I wanted to landscape with River rock. I assumed they could tell me how much to get based on that, since that’s what they did with my mother when she ordered for her house the year before. The person helping me didn’t know so he asked his manager Sara, who was super annoyed and short with us. I’m sorry I’m not trained on how to convert garden square footage into “yards of rock”. When we left, even my mom (who was with me) said, “wow, that wasn’t the experience I had” and apologized for getting us a gift certificate there. Quoted a month for delivery, waited a month and then called them for the status. Middle of the afternoon and I’m told, “oh we were just going to call you today!”- after sounding confused about the whole thing. When they came, they only had one person and they were just going to dump it in the road. Now, when I ordered it, I said I wanted it dumped in my garden. Sara had even written down labor charges for me when I ordered, and I still have the paper. Not to mention that my mother and husband were also there when we ordered- so I know I’m not losing my mind. When trying to figure this out I was put on the phone with Sara and she was once again rude and acted like I was wrong- she even asked why my husband had to be at my house during delivery (none of your business- it’s our house!)! After about an hour, they sent a second guy to take over for the first one. Trying to pay over the phone was just as painful. They get two stars because the delivery guys were very nice and hard working, and I do enjoy the River rock. I’m just not going back there when I landscape the rest of my house.
