We are exceptionally pleased with our landscaping from Donnie Mac's Landscaping, Inc. Hannah worked with us to design what my wife envisioned for our landscaping. She and Donnie stopped by when we had questions or wanted to make changes to the design. Donnie's estimate of when they would be able start was spot on. The landscaping crew was professional and the project manager, J.P., made suggestions that enhanced the look. We have received numerous compliments on our new landscaping. The one and only complaint we had was that we only had a one hour notice before the crew showed up. I would highly recommend Donnie Mac's Landscaping, Inc.

Hiring Donnie Mac was a huge mistake. After spending months planning the yard landscaping, I called him for an update and he gave me an aggressive attitude for making an inquiry into our project, which he later blamed on his personal issues. There was no discussion of what do to with existing plants which we spent days later replanting ourselves. The landscaping crew was awful. They planted a lilac plant two inches from a staircase. Most of the plants were very immature when compared to the same full grown specimens from a local nursery plants for the same price (he did give us a modest discount when I pointed this out to him in person). The crew didn't have our complete order of plants with them, so they planted whatever they had leftover on their truck. I also found a can of Modelo in the bushes shortly after they left. Many of the plants have since died off or not grown at all several years later. I felt completely disrespected by an angry, malcontent individual with a poorly trained construction crew. Avoid hiring this company and save yourself the expense and headache of a totally underwhelming outcome.

Donnie Mac’s Landscaping literally made our home complete! Not only are Don and Etta extremely knowledgeable but they are also easy and fun to work with! Pay the extra $ now to be guaranteed exceptional results! If you have a beautiful nice new home or are looking to enhance your exterior aesthetic, you NEED to budget for landscaping!!! Follow their lead, they know what they’re doing! They also do uplighting! They designed our entire plan, walked us through every step of the process, were on time and professional and all we had to do was sit back and watch it come to life! I can’t say enough positive things about our experience from start to finish! I am truly impressed with Don and his amazing company!

Thank you to the entire team at Donnie Mac’s Landscaping. Our patio transformation is beyond what we envisioned. The expertise at all levels is apparent. We went from a retaining wall of timbers to a gorgeous block wall, paver patio & sidewalk. The detail work is impeccable. We would like to thank Don & Hannah with the design ideas, & Chad, Rich & Bryce for the incredible execution of the plan. We love our new patio & would highly recommend them. Came out to give me an estimate. Didn’t listen to what I wanted and tried to suggest things that I absolutely did not want. They emailed me the estimate about a month later with the trees on it that I told them several times that I did not want. I emailed them back with the adjustments that I wanted, and they responded that they would get back to me to see if the designer is okay with my changes (it’s MY yard, I don’t care if they don’t like that I don’t want the messy trees they are suggesting) and email me back with the updated proposal. I then receive an email that they haven’t heard from me and are just following up to see if I was still interested! So they completely forgot about our prior conversation. They also said they can’t do the project until next year. I wouldn’t schedule them for anything far in advance if they can’t even remember an email from a few days ago. I can’t rate their work, as I have decided not to use this company so I went neutral on my rating. My personal experience was one star. Had they listed to what I wanted, got me a proposal promptly, and been able to do the work this season, I would have wrote them a check today. But all of the above are what clients look for in a landscaper, and this company fell short.
