Mark Johnson spent an exorbitant amount of time looking at our property, and included us in every step of the process.
With the help of Rebecca, Edwin, crew leaders and teams, each highly professional in their areas of responsibility, a beautiful picture started to appear. Our communication with Centerpoint on every step gave us an opportunity to see how each preformed and objectives met. The process revealed something that we really appreciated. A very highly professional team dedicated to accomplishing this project through their great attitudes, respect, kindness and honest interactions. Its our DREAM come true.

Kudos to Centerpoint and especially our designer, Greg Sample. We wanted to redo our original front and back yards with some modern design ideas yet keeping with our HOAs requirements.

Greg was excellent throughout the entire process from design through installation. He was very good in understanding our tastes and preferences while also adding ideas which complemented our plans. Overall Centerpoint was very efficient in completing our the entire project, even completing ahead of schedule.

We had an amazing experience from the first quote to the final backyard walkthrough! The crew finished ahead of schedule and answered every question and update we threw at them. Long read below; I break down each step of the process in detail.

Design:
We worked with Jeremy Wiley on the design. He came by the house and did measurements of the house for the initial quote. We came in with some ideas (outside dog wash) and he gave honest feedback and turned them into something better than we imagined. He listened, told us the truth when we asked for it, and kept the plan simple, low-maintenance, modern, and comfortable, which was exactly what we wanted. We discussed cost and budget upfront, and he made sure we stayed within our number without surprises. We got multiple quotes from other companies, but chose this team for their consistent communication and stronger designs.

Build:
Once we signed the contract, payments were split into about four milestones. The first payment with was the singing of the contract and then at different points throughout the project (delivery of the material, midpoint, final). Daniel Guerrero (site supervisor) introduced himself right away, along with Raul (team lead). Both were friendly and communicated clearly. Raul’s crew was fantastic. They were efficient, respectful of our property and neighbors, and always open to questions. If we asked, Raul listened and answered.

Final Walkthrough:
Daniel did a thorough final walkthrough with us to confirm we loved the result and to capture any concerns. We decided to add one more pathway light, and he scheduled it immediately.

Only dislike (being picky)
Baby plants: We didn’t realize they’d be younger plants, but that’s on us. We learned smaller transplants establish better and have a higher survival rate than dropping in full-grown plants.

Overall excellent design, strong communication, tidy and efficient crew. We are really happy with the backyard and experience!

Our new house came with a front and back yard that had been neglected for several years. The amount of dead trees, dried weeds, and severe overgrowth was to the point where we couldn’t even get into our house easily because of we had to dodge giant plant obstructions at our entrance.

Centerpoint Landscaping came to our rescue! We worked closely with Mark and Joey to design a clean and simple yet beautiful hardscape that had irrigation and was plant ready - all on our tight budget. They thoroughly measured every inch of our yards, took photos, and then worked their magic on an interactive design system that generated a very accurate visual representation of how the end result would look. We were able to tweak parts of the design during the process as well.

Their field team was extremely thorough and efficient in removing all of the dead plants, replacing them with color coordinated rocks, pebbles and boulders to create an aesthetically pleasing desert landscape that finally made sense. Our yards were transformed in just two weeks once the design was approved. The entire process was organized and smooth from start to finish. Best of all, the entire project came right on budget.

Mark and Joey were great to work with, as was Jesus and his field team. I would highly recommend Centerpoint if you are in need of high quality hardscaping and/or landscaping and you’re particular about having a seamless, on-budget process!
