Reviews

What customers say

Several customers praised Marshall's communication during planning and project work. One reviewer said landscaping visits took too long and left messes beyond landscaped areas; another spent nearly a year trying to arrange repairs after a patio-and-yard project before Marshall told them to find another company because he was too busy.

These have to be the worst landscapers I’ve ever seen. Not only does the property look like garbage, but they take extremely long and come twice a week and make a huge mess of everywhere that isn’t landscaped - and they don’t clean up after themselves. 0/10

Hardscape patio and yard. On the front end, Marshall did a good job with communication and the end product was very well done, which took about two weeks to complete at a cost of around $10K. However after some time had passed, we needed additional maintenance completed on the work he had done, Marshall was horrible with communication. I reached out numerous times by phone and text before he replied. After nearly a full year of working to get Marshall to come out and do repairs he told me to find another company to do the work because he was too busy. Whats worse is, is that our home is about two miles from his business location so its not like he would have to go way out of his way to do the work. Because of their after the sale performance I will not recommend their services to anyone.

Marshall and his crew were outstanding. The professionalism started with the best laid out quote of all we received, and ended with him trying to fix our underground sprinkler system that wasn't even part of the project. Our ability to communicate with him through email and pictures had to be the highlight as we would check progress each night and come up with subtle changes and feedback. Nothing but positive comments from all the neighbors and friends that have come by to have a look. We would have him back to do another job, and would highly recommend.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does New Life Landscape develop a project proposal?

The first meeting involves a property walk and discussion of project goals. If the scope is clear, a firm bid can often follow within a few days; larger or unclear projects may go through design before a bid, contract and scheduled work.

Does New Life Landscape install landscapes year-round?

It installs landscapes all year with proper precautions; soil work and planting are the elements most affected by the season.

How are project payments structured?

Larger projects typically call for one-third upfront, a progress payment midway and the balance at completion; smaller projects typically use half down and half on completion.

What happens to maintenance visits when weather disrupts the schedule?

The company treats local school cancellations as a sign that a visit may not happen; regular maintenance resumes when weather allows.
