Reviews

What customers say

Positive reviews praise the quality of the landscaping and describe the team as easy to work with. One customer says the team guided a front-bed redesign and came back to replace plants lost in an ice storm. Other reviews report serious communication failures: one customer says the crew refused to call ahead, cut only part of the yard and cut it two weeks before the requested date; another says the owner never followed through after saying he would come by.

My wife and I (Flowood, MS) switched our yard care services (maintenance as well as additions) to Josh M. at Ambiance last year. We could not be happier with the quality of work Josh and his crews do. They are truly professional landscapers and it shows.

Was very disappointed with the lack of communication with this company. I asked TIM for a phone call before their arrival so I could be at the property to show them what needed to be done. They REFUSED to call. They came and half cut the yard AND lacked communication. They say they are on Auto Pilot yes, to collect money and that’s it. I know good yard workers are hard to find, but my opinion I would definitely bypass this company. I would give 0 stars if I could. I explained in our conversation I wanted flowers planted, I also explained I wanted the yard cut the last day of the month. They cut it 2 weeks prior and no phone call EVER. Then sent a message stating that they would call when in route to see what I wanted (photo attached) still did NOT happen. The unprofessional lady Lea is the office person and she could care less they are after money. PERIOD.

Initially reached out in March and the owner came out for an estimate and plan. Everything was great. Notified him that I was having my house painted so I’d reach back out when I was ready for landscaping. Reached out to the owner multiple times in May via office, cell and email. He responded via cell and we spoke briefly that he’d come by. He never followed through with when he’d come by. So I Continued to call and leave voicemails with no response. I guess he didn’t need the business. We ended up finding someone else who was serious about getting the job done.

Ambiance (Josh) did an awesome job redesigning our front flower beds. Everyone on our street were amazed at the transformation. They guided us on the design and were easy to work with. We lost a few plants due to the ice storm and they came back and replaced them for us as soon as we let them know. They are great to work with for any landscaping needs.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does Ambiance handle a landscape installation?

After the proposal and timeline are complete, the team starts the design process and meets at the property to review the layout. Work begins after approval, and the company secures any permits needed for stone or paver work.

How does Ambiance plan irrigation zones?

New systems are designed around the property's size and shape and the types of plants, trees, shrubs and flowers on site. Systems are customized to target each property zone.

What is Ambiance's typical mowing schedule?

Mowing generally starts in late March or early April and continues until the grass goes dormant, usually in late October or early November. Grass is typically cut to 2.5 to 3 inches, though the company may raise the height based on its professional opinion.
