Gambo just completed a large project at our property that included installing a number of drainage solutions, re-grading of the front and back yards, and re-sodding of the front and back yards. We couldn't be more pleased with the final outcome. As others have mentioned in their reviews here, Gambo has been a pleasure to work with. Everyone from Mario to Aleena to Micah to the crews performing the work are knowledgeable, patient, and care about the quality of their work. We made a number of modifications as our project progressed, and each time the answer was "No problem, we can do that for you." The quality of the work performed was excellent. Gambo not only did all the work we requested, but also added nice finishing touches to areas we hadn't requested simply to ensure a nice finished look. It's not easy to find companies who are this thorough in their work these days, but Gambo just does things the right way. We felt completely taken care of throughout the entire process. Couldn't recommend this business enough!
We had such a great experience from Gambo Scapes! Mario, Aleena, Michael were so easy to work with. They communicated so well through the entire process. We had trees and bushes removed. Michael worked quickly with the crew. They completed the removal and cleaned up. They went above and beyond to ensure all the areas were left cleaned and cleared. I am so happy with their service. After we had met with numerous drainage / landscape companies soliciting proposals to correct our drainage / landscape issues, Mario came out from Gambo Scapes and listened carefully as we stood in our yard together recounting our drainage issues during and after torrential downpours. Mario mentioned a couple of options, but then he took the lead in making a strong recommendation as he detailed exactly what he would do. He suggested installing a dry creek bed to funnel the heavy volume of rainwater that had previously been eroding down hill in our backyard into newly installed drainage boxes which would collect the rainwater and deposit it into an underground pipe system which would carry that water out to the street while also tying in multiple downspouts to capture and carry away rainwater from our roof. Mario won our trust and confidence by demonstrating his experience, by articulating his planned solution so well, and Gambo was the only company to proactively include in their proposal a pallet of new sod and x # of bales of pine straw like they would want in their own yard! When Mario’s team came out to make it happen, his team lead demonstrated the exact same experience and confidence as he articulated in advance what his team was going to do exactly as Mario had described it. The Gambo team then got to work, and executed their plan flawlessly in about one day. The team lead checked in with me a few times along the way describing their progress and time-line, and before I knew it they were finished, cleaning up perfectly after themselves. Once Mario came out to inspect their work at the end, I asked if they could possibly expand the project by slightly increasing the size and shape of the dry creek bed. Mario confirmed they could do it the next day, and he also recommended adding a small strip of Zeon Zoysia sod to round out completing the project. We hadn’t discussed what kind of Zoysia variety I had, but because Mario knew what it was and that matching the exact variety of sod was critically important, he made a point of proactively reassuring me that he was matching the exact variety of Zoysia. Gambo is trustworthy. They also added a thick, healthy layer of additional pine straw to put a bow on the project at the end like they were really proud of their work! I watered the new sod just as Mario had emphasized, and it has successfully taken hold! We love the aesthetic look and feel of the dry creek bed; the beautiful, healthy sod which has eliminated the only remaining weak spots in our lawn and the proven functionality of the underground drainage system following a few good rain storms! I couldn’t be more pleased, and I highly recommend Gambo Scapes!
