I am so grateful to Laura for her knowledge and patience. One of the best plant care workshops I have ever attended!
Hired Laura to put down much needed soil and grass seed to an area that was not growing any grass after we tried several times on our own to do it. Excellent soil was delivered and her and her team proceded to spread soil and put down grass seed even in some areas that need soil. Great job, highly recommend. Will have her back in early 2026 to prune our apple tree.
I recently took a fruit pruning workshop with Laura and not only is she a wealth of knowledge, but she was so energetic, upbeat and she had everyone’s full attention the entire time. As a horticulturalist myself, I learned some very valuable skills taking this workshop. I recommend this to anyone interested in learning specialized techniques for fruit pruning; no matter your skill set! You will learn something new! Thanks Laura for hosting and keep up your fun workshops!
I recently took a fruit tree pruning workshop with Laura and had such a blast. She is a fountain of knowledge and her delivery is so upbeat and positive. It was a very cold day for the workshop but her bright energy kept the group entertained and engaged for the entire 4 hours, which flew by for me. I felt feeling uplifted, inspired and confident to tackle my own trees. I've had some of my fruit trees for 5 years now and have been feeling my way along with pruning, feeling like I've been doing OK, but - there's nothing like in person instruction with an expert to set you on the right track. Thank you Laura!
Laura is an extremely gifted arborist. Her pruning worked magic on my older apple orchard, bringing back its vitality, health, and rigour. Some of the trees had been untouched for years and I thought were past saving, however they did extremely well after Laura's care. They are larger and have less bugs (I don't spray to prevent bugs). She also hosts an incredibly informative workshop in the spring where one can learn fundamental theory of pruning fruit trees and also see it in action via live demonstration. She is a wonderful resource and I recommend her services wholeheartedly.
