LaytonScape created a retaining wall using large native boulders mined from our property. His reliable and creative crew has been working with Jeff, the owner, for 30 plus years. They also planted several large Austrian Pine trees and installed a water sprinkler system for irrigation. The team, lead by Jeff, were professional, fast, neat and cleaned up afterwards! I contacted many landscaping companies for estimates and recommendations for landscaping and a sprinkling system for my new home. I had a rough idea of what I wanted but was open to suggestions and recommendations. There was a concern about slope and running off into the neighbors property. Jeff, the owner of LaytonScape, was one of the few that showed up when promised and offered recommendations during that initial discussion. I was quite surprised to receive a comprehensive estimate on the spot with a professional company packet. Of the other companies that show up, few got back to me with estimates. Laytonscape was neither the most expensive nor cheapest but because of the professional initial meeting, conversations, and verifiable insurance, I chose to work with Laytonscape. Jeff kept me up to date on his crew's schedule and when they would be able to begin my project. I had to coordinate his work with a fencing company's schedule that kept slipping. Jeff was very accommodating. His crew showed up on the agreed upon day and did as much as could be done pending fencing. Once the fence was completed, his crew again showed up on the agreed upon day and completed the work. About his crew...they have been with Laytonscape for many years. I think that says something about a company. The crew cleaned up every single day, never a foul word, and were like watching a well oiled hard working machine. My 70 something neighbor was doing some digging in his yard and one of Jeff's crew went over and finished it for him. Jeff wasn't there so I know he wasn't told to do that. My landscaping and sprinkler project turned out great. I could not be more pleased with the finished product and the process of getting it there. We had a torrential rainstorm after the project was completed. This was more of a contractor's problem than Laytonscape, but an area around the foundation near the front steps sunk a foot or more. I sent Jeff a text and without any issues, he sent his crew over to bring it back up to level as part of his guarantee. I made the right choice choosing to work with Laytonscape and Jeff.

We are thrilled with our experience with Laytonscape and Jeff (and his great crew!). He gave us a quote on the spot, showed up several times before the job started to verify and brainstorm ideas. They took extra precautions to protect our property from any potential damage. They showed up on time to do the job, every day. They cleaned up any material from the road every afternoon. The crew were quiet (no loud music), clean, nice and thorough. The finished when they said they would and replaced broken sprinklers, fixed damaged grass (and even fertilized it), and coiled up hoses. And they stayed on budget. It feels like you hear horror stories about giving a deposit then never seeing a crew, but these guys are the best of the best. Our project turned out better than we expected, they were able to get us everything we hoped to get, on budget and on time. And it looks beautiful! Truly amazing!

LaytonScape built a gorgeous retaining wall for us that has literally transformed the look of our yard.
