So happy we came across Avanti, we chose them over other landscapers as their work met our standards of modern up to date looks and also they seem to be a rare landscaping company that has a receptionist who answers the phone. Many companies I called never returned calls. Their loss. We wanted a grass-less low maintenance front yard, we have a typical Toronto shoebox front yard, we didn’t want fullness with plants but rather a linear planned garden with straight lines with perennial plants and Avanti delivered!! Peter, Henry & his team and Derrick were all amazing! Very easy to deal with. Derrick went above and beyond..I had called him and asked to switch a few plants in the front, and with no questions or hesitation he bought the plants and planted them himself. He had told me, he was going to surprise us by planting them without telling us so when we came home from work we’d see these new plants! Highly recommend Avanti!! We are happy, thank you ??

We paid over $120,000 to Avanti Landscaping for a major landscaping project last summer, including extensive interlock work. Less than a year later, we are seeing significant cracking and shifting in the interlock, which appears to stem from improper installation — most likely a poorly prepared base and lack of proper edge restraints.

Avanti claims to offer a 2-year labor warranty, yet they have been completely unresponsive despite multiple follow-up attempts over several weeks. After an initial site visit where they minimized the issue and suggested replacing a few stones, we’ve heard nothing back. It is now clear they are avoiding accountability and have no intention of standing behind their work.

For a company that prides itself on professionalism, this experience has been deeply frustrating and disappointing. When you charge premium prices, customers expect quality work and integrity — not silence and neglect when things go wrong. Based on our experience, I would strongly advise others to think twice before hiring Avanti Landscaping.
